New Year's Resolutions Solutions
Another new year is just around the corner. I missed the chance to run a new year countdown series of articles, but I hope to get the chance next year.
There's always next year, right?
I hope there is!
A new year celebration is great fun, but that only happen once every 365 days. You should try to achieve goals throughout the year so you can celebrate more often. The more you celebrate, the better you'll feel, and the better you feel might make you more motivated to hit more goals. It's a chain reaction, but you have to set some goals before you can party!
Top 10 New Year's Resolutions
If you need some new year resolutions ideas, you should take a look at the top 10 new year’s resolutions I’ve gathered from a variety of sources. This isn’t a comprehensive list, but it should give you a general idea what to aim for.
Get organized – Out with the old, in with the new is probably one of the most popular new year resolution quotes. Get rid of what you don’t need. If you’re not using it now and won’t within the next month, toss it.
Learn a new skill or hobby – Keeping your mind sharp can benefit you professionally and personally. Plus that new skill you learn might help you achieve your goals in 2022.
Live life to the fullest – Make the most out of each day. Discard the negative in your life. Focus on the present and plan for the future.
Save money – Save money and spend less. Buy what you need, not what you want and you can see an uptick in your finances. It takes willpower, but this could be a goal you focus on in the new year.
Quit smoking – Smoking is one of the worse things you can do to your body. Keeping yourself healthy should be paramount every year, especially with COVID-19 still a major presence in the world today.
Spend more time with family and friends – You should only spend time with those you like. The people who make you feel good can give you the positive vibes that can keep you healthy and motivated to keep accomplishing your goals.
Travel more – Although traveling might be more difficult during the COVID-19 public health emergency, visiting local sites every so often can be a nice break from the insanity of today’s world.
Read more – You don’t have to read long books. Reading something as simple as a short blog article can help you stay true to this resolution.
Eat healthier – Diets are popular this time of year. Don’t go cold turkey on the unhealthy stuff you eat. Wean yourself off sugar and salt and see how you feel. Chance are, you’ll want to completely eliminate those body and mind killers.
Get more exercise – A 20 to 30-minute long walk every day can do wonders for your health.
New Year Resolutions Ideas
While looking at Top 10 New Year’s Resolutions lists might give you some ideas, they also might overwhelm you. Dieting and exercising might seem too daunting. You shouldn’t stress out about keeping resolutions. Start small. Cut one food from your diet. Walk for 10 minutes every other day and build your exercise routine from there. Save a few dollars a week and increase the amount after one month.
Maybe set some unique new year’s resolutions like start a journal or diary, write a poem every day, or eat one salad a week. Make it interesting. Changing your life shouldn’t be boring. You might lose interest early on if you simply choose to exercise more.
You might want to consider setting some funny new year’s resolutions. Pull a prank on a friend or loved one once a month. Wear a Halloween costume once in a while. Do something that makes you or the people around you laugh. Get crazy!
Students might also be in the mood to set some new goals for the upcoming year. New year resolutions for students can include studying for a set amount of time each day or learning a new skill.
There are new year’s resolutions for every type of person. Finding the right ones for you might be a challenge, but don’t stress out too much if you can’t find one. Searching online can give you more ideas.

Setting resolutions is easy. Keeping them, however, can prove to be difficult. Life usually has its way with people’s plans. Stress can kill may great resolutions.

Judging by those stats, maybe not.
Don’t let new year's resolutions statistics discourage you from improving yourself. Anyone can make up numbers to make you read their articles. Choose the resolutions that are most effective for you and create your own statistics that measure your success.
My New Year's Resolutions
I might talk a good game, but I have a few new year's resolutions I want to stick to in 2022:
Finish writing all of my works-in-progress. They include 3 suspense-thrillers, 2 science fiction books, and 1 wuxia story.
Write a blog post every week.
Submit stories to publishers again. I didn’t submit anything in 2021.
Cut bread from my diet. I’ve already drastically reduced my sugar and salt intake. 2022 is the year I eliminate bread!
Walk for 30 minutes every day. I’m up to 20 minutes every other day already. I can do better!
I think those are extremely doable. I’ll keep you updated about my progress.
I hope you set a new year resolution and stick to it. I also hope all of your new year wishes come true!

Demon Hero: Hellgate Final - NOW AVAILABLE!
CLOSE THE HELLGATE
There are many dimensions – different planes of existence. The two closest to ours are what we call Heaven and Hell. Know that Hell is populated by demons and their collective energies – energies we call demonic radiation.
This radiation doesn’t harm humans like the radiation you know. Demonic radiation alters human DNA, changing a person’s physiological and psychological make-ups into . . . something else.
There are seven physical portals to Hell scattered across Earth. One has opened in the bustling city of Blue Creek.
With the opening of the hellgate came an eruption of pent-up demonic radiation which affected those directly in its path. Twelve in all had their cells mutated. It was a miracle that more did not succumb to the effects of the radiation. Or maybe not . . . .
Those unharmed witnessed a spectacular sight as the first monster borne from this incident, Triaxis, destroyed whole sections of the city. Hundreds perished and millions around the globe would never be the same. The military couldn’t stop the fifty-foot-tall creature’s rampage.
Enter Tommy Rider.
Irradiated like the monster Triaxis, Rider displays noticeable differences. For one, he can transform at will into the humanoid warrior the world would soon dub Demon Hero. Not only does he retain a human form, but he also retains his humanity, one that’s burdened with the strength to stop the monsters created by otherworldly energies.
However, the demonic radiation fueling Rider dwindles with every transformation and every punch he throws. His first battle with Triaxis ended in victory, but can he defeat his final challenge?
