School and Library Giveaway!
Some of you may know that I'm currently halfway through a grad school program--in education of all things!
Which means I'm particularly interested in making friends with teachers and librarians and all those who put books directly into the hands of kids and don't get nearly enough credit for it.
And because, hopefully, by this time next year I'll be one (a teacher, not a librarian--I'm underqualified to be a librarian)!
So I want to have a giveaway! All you have to do is fill out THIS FORM and I will randomly pick 5 winners to receive a paperback copy of SCARLET, AAAAAANND a finished copy of LADY THIEF.
Details:
US ONLY. Sorry Team International, it's expensive to ship books!
CONTEST CLOSES JANUARY 31st!

SNEAK PEEK!
...But only on Tumblr!
It's now FIVE WEEKS EXACTLY until LADY THIEF comes out, so every Tuesday I will be sharing some quotes from the book--but like I said, ONLY ON TUMBLR!!
Today may or may not be the first one...
Enjoy!

Trailers!
HAPPY NEW YEAR!
As you may know, 2014 is the YEAR OF THE THIEF!!!
(or at least one thief....)
So I thought I'd share some Lady Thief love with you guys...
And you may have already seen this, but there's this too:
December 20, 2013
Whhooo Hoo Contest!
The contest is over, and you guys were all like:
You guys are AMAZING. 908 entries? For serious??!
I have ELEVEN prize packs waiting to go out, and you should check out some of this swag...
It's all coming your way. Winners will be emailed and I believe they pop up on the old rafflecopter widget.
And guys? THANKS FOR BEING AWESOME. Totally made my December!

nincs várakozás, félelmetes!
Ok. So yes, that title isn't English. I just had to find a new way to say "No wait, more awesome"--so I tried Hungarian. ;-)
CONTEST UPDATES:
ONE MORE PRIZE ADDED!!!! Tiffany Schmidt put up a SIGNED copy of SEND ME A SIGN--which I'm kind of pumped about, because in addition to being my buddy and my publisher-sister, I LOVED SMAS. Loved it. And since I want our books to hang out more, I shifted one of the add-on LADY THIEF copies to be paired with hers. Think you guys can hit 700 entries by Friday?
And BOOM! WHAT SHE LEFT BEHIND and another ARC of LADY THIEF have been unlocked!

*Not international. Sad face.

NO WAIT. MORE AWESOME!
Okay, guys. My whole theory with this unlocking stuff is that AWESOME begets MORE AWESOME.
Which is why Tracy Bilen just offered up a SIGNED copy of WHAT SHE LEFT BEHIND for an extra winner!!
So the chart has changed again! What this means--600 entries will unlock an ADDITIONAL copy of LADY THIEF added to one of the existing Prize Packs, and A WHOLE NEW PRIZE PACK, which is a signed copy of WHAT SHE LEFT BEHIND.

This is like a holiday-themed miracle.
Notes again:
*Kindle--should you unlock it--is the basic one (Retails at $69)
*Not international (sad face)
*Rafflecopter is below
*If you guys keep slamming through the unlocks, there are MORE THINGS. ;-)
NEW PRIZES. FOR MORE AWESOME!
Because you guys were all like this:
and absolutely SLAMMED through those prize pack unlocks, I'm going to strive for more awesome.
So here's the updated list (OF AWESOME):

So keep entering, and the contest will get PROGRESSIVELY MORE AWESOME.
The Kindle will be THIS ONE. Which yes, is the cheap one, but please remember, exceptionally GIVEABLE for things like HOLIDAYS particularly when you want people to READ.
Another reminder: this is not international, sadly. I cannot afford to send heavy book things internationally :-( I'm as sad about that as you are because I REALLY LIKE including international bloggers. I'm very sorry.
Also, just fair warning--there is a VERY tight turnaround if you want to get these in time for Christmas. I'll email the winners as soon as I can, and if you DO or DO NOT need it for Christmas, let me know. I will try my best (without taking out more student loans) to get it there on time.
HAVE AT IT!
PS--There are two prizes I'm still debating including. And by debating I mean reading/deciding if I can part with them. I'll keep you posted...!

So there you have it. That's what you need to unlock, and that's what you're going to win.
And, I should warn you, I have fun plans for PACKAGING these happy packages.....
But I'll leave that for later.
Share away, friends!

GIVEAWAY MADNESS!
So, around December, things start happening like this:
And I get all like:
So obviously I'm like...
No wait. That is apropos of nothing. Except Richard Armitage, who...yeah. Yeah.
ANYWAY!!
I would like to induce this feeling in you:
So here's the deal.
BEFORE I even MENTION the giveaway, I'm opening this back up: Until December 20th, anyone who drops their information in HERE will get a signed bookplate from me, totally for free. I ask that you please buy a copy of the book before I do that, but I'm working on the honor system because I totally trust and love you guys, and if you want a bookplate to NOT put in a book...well who am I to deny you!
ONTO THE GREAT AND MAGICAL GIVEAWAY!!!
I'm going to START with 3 paperback copies of Scarlet to three different winners, signed and sent to you.
If there are more than 200 entries to the contest, I'm going to add in a copy of another Bloomsbury/Walker book, to be revealed, for a fourth winner.
250 entries, another B/W book, and a fifth winner.
300 entries, ANOTHER B/W book, sixth winner.
350 entries, I'll add in an ARC of Lady Thief, seventh winner.
400 entries, I'll add in ANOTHER arc of Lady Thief, EIGHTH winner.
450 entries, I'll add a packaged copy of Lady Thief AND Scarlet, together, like the most thief-y present ever, to a NINTH winner.
I'll leave it there for now, but rest assured, I have more prizes up my sleeve if you guys beat these numbers.
THE RULES: The contest goes til midnight EST on December 20th (or 11:59pm, technically, because midnight would be Dec 21st).
I will ship the bookplates internationally; unfortunately, due to timing and cost, I'm not going to be able to ship the books internationally. I'm very sorry guys; I try to do as much internationally as I can. :-(
And for the big winners, when I email notifications I will ask if you have a preference for your prize.
OH--and you may notice something about a certain teaser trailer on the Rafflecopter commands...
Alright guys, have at it!
