Listening to the Professor
Dear Everyone,
I'm pleased to report that audiobooks of both Gabriel's Inferno and Gabriel's Rapture will be released September 27th.
I hope that you'll enjoy listening to the Professor, but as a reader reminded me, it might be best not to listen to him while driving or operating heavy machinery. (Ahem)
I'm also pleased to report that both novels are on the New York Times' bestseller's list again this week.
Thank you for yours support and thank you for telling your friends and family about these books. Word of mouth is important for authors.
Finally, I hope to be able to share with you details on my current writing project soon.

New York Times Bestseller List
Dear Everyone,
I'm pleased to announce that "Gabriel's Inferno" is #14 on the New York Times Trade Paperback list, #15 on the ebook list, and #12 on the combined print/ebook list. "Gabriel's Rapture" is #27 on the ebook extended list. This marks the first time that Rapture has made the list.
So allow me to thank you for your support of my writing. Thank you for reading and for telling your friends, families, and Book Clubs about the books. I'm working on something that I believe will show my appreciation to you. I hope to be able to say more about that soon.
In the meantime, I'm pleased to announce that Penguin Australia has just released their versions of my novels. They should go on sale today. Penguin UK has already released the ebook versions of both books, with paperback editions to be released shortly.

Release of Penguin UK Editions
Dear Everyone,
Penguin UK has now released its Kindle editions of both of my novels with the paperback versions to follow shortly.
You can find the Kindle versions on Amazon.co.uk, each with a newly designed cover. I think you'll like the new design as much as I do.

The Australian editions of both novels should go on sale September 13.
Finally, I'm pleased to report that a Japanese translation of both novels is forthcoming. This is in edition to the Portuguese, Spanish, Italian, Turkish, and Russian translations that are also in the works.
Readers have been tweeting and Facebooking photographs of displays of the books in places like Costco, Barnes and Noble, Indigo/Chapters, and Books a Million. I'm told the books are also available in some grocery stores and on Target.com and Walmart.com. Thanks for letting me know when you see the novels.

North American release of "Gabriel's Inferno" and "Gabriel's Rapture"
Dear Everyone,
Today is the North American release date of the Berkley editions of both "Gabriel's Inferno" and "Gabriel's Rapture." The titles are now available on Amazon.com and Amazon.ca, as well as Chapters.ca, Barnesandnoble.com, and the iTunes and Kobo stores.
Many bookshops in Canada and the USA have copies in stock. Thank you to everyone who tweeted or posted photographs of the store displays. I really appreciate it.
Looking ahead, the release date of the UK versions of the novels (with new covers) will be announced soon. Penguin UK will be distributing the novels in Ireland, as well. The release date of the Australian versions by Penguin Australia is September 13.

Viva Italia!
Dear Everyone,
I want to thank you for your continued support of me and my writing. Because of your enthusiasm, my novels will be translated into Hungarian, Turkish, Russian, Spanish, Portuguese and now ... Italian.
Yes, Casa Editrice Nord has acquired the Italian language rights to both books. As you know, I have a deep appreciation for Italian history and culture. So it's with tremendous joy that I make this announcement.
I'll be adding a section to this site so that readers can find information about the International editions of my work.

Writing
Dear Everyone,
I want to thank you for your support of my writing. I'm working on a project at the moment and I hope to be able to tell you a little bit more about it soon. In the meantime, know that it is much, much easier to write knowing that I am writing for such great people. Thank you.
I'm also pleased to note that my publisher, Berkley, has entered into agreements with publishers in Spain, Brazil, Turkey and Russia to have both of my novels translated. Once again, I'm so pleased that those of you from those nations and beyond will be able to read my work in your own language.

Around the World

It has been a great pleasure for me to hear from readers around the world. I mentioned in a previous post that it was my hope that readers would be able to read my novels in their own language. I'm happy to announce that that will be the case for some of you.
Berkley, my publisher, has sold the foreign language rights for both "Gabriel's Inferno" and "Gabriel's Rapture" to Spain. This means that Spanish translations of both books are forthcoming.
I wanted to say a word to my Spanish-speaking readers. You have been some of my strongest supporters and I am so pleased to be able to announce this good news. As more information becomes available, I'll share it with you. Other foreign translations are also in the works.
I'm also pleased to report that "Gabriel's Inferno" is #35 on the New York Times Bestsellers List (Ebook/Fiction) and continues to climb the charts of the USAToday Bestsellers List. Thank you for your continued support.
