SR signs Contract for Third Book in Gabriel Series: Plus Contest!
Dear Everyone,
I have good news.
I have on my desk a contract with Berkley Books for three novels. The first book under this contract will be the third
and final volume in the Gabriel series. The release date is to be announced, as
are the subjects of the other two books under contract.
When I wrote “Gabriel’s Rapture,” I
intended this book to be the last volume about the Professor. But no sooner was
the book released, than I began to receive letters from readers asking me for a
third book.
Although I was grateful for the
letters, I was determined that Rapture would be the final book. But as time
went on and I received message after message asking for more about the
Professor and Julianne, I began to contemplate what a third novel would entail.
Then, one morning I began to write …
So I’m pleased to tell you, the readers,
that the third book is in progress and it's being written for you in response
to your messages. Thank you for your continued support of me and my writing. I look forward to sharing the novel with you.

Listening to the Professor

I'm pleased to report that the audiobooks of both "Gabriel's Inferno" and "Gabriel's Rapture" were released today, September 27. Many readers have been contacting me asking me about the possibility of audio books and I'm proud to say that Penguin Audio did a great job with the recording.
They audiobooks are available on Audible.com, the iTunes store, and Audible.co.uk. You can listen to a sample of each book through the Audible.com site.

I hope that you'll enjoy listening to the Professor, but as a reader reminded me, it might be best not to listen to him while driving or operating heavy machinery. (Ahem)

New York Times Bestseller List

I'm pleased to announce that "Gabriel's Inferno" is #14 on the New York Times Trade Paperback list, #15 on the ebook list, and #12 on the combined print/ebook list. "Gabriel's Rapture" is #27 on the ebook extended list. This marks the first time that Rapture has made the list.
So allow me to thank you for your support of my writing. Thank you for reading and for telling your friends, families, and Book Clubs about the books. I'm working on something that I believe will show my appreciation to you. I hope to be able to say more about that soon.
In the meantime, I'm pleased to announce that Penguin Australia has just released their versions of my novels. They should go on sale today. Penguin UK has already released the ebook versions of both books, with paperback editions to be released shortly.

Release of Penguin UK Editions

Penguin UK has now released its Kindle editions of both of my novels with the paperback versions to follow shortly.
You can find the Kindle versions on Amazon.co.uk, each with a newly designed cover. I think you'll like the new design as much as I do.

The Australian editions of both novels should go on sale September 13.
Finally, I'm pleased to report that a Japanese translation of both novels is forthcoming. This is in edition to the Portuguese, Spanish, Italian, Turkish, and Russian translations that are also in the works.

North American release of "Gabriel's Inferno" and "Gabriel's Rapture"
Dear Everyone,
Today is the North American release date of the Berkley editions of both "Gabriel's Inferno" and "Gabriel's Rapture." The titles are now available on Amazon.com and Amazon.ca, as well as Chapters.ca, Barnesandnoble.com, and the iTunes and Kobo stores.
Many bookshops in Canada and the USA have copies in stock. Thank you to everyone who tweeted or posted photographs of the store displays. I really appreciate it.
Looking ahead, the release date of the UK versions of the novels (with new covers) will be announced soon. Penguin UK will be distributing the novels in Ireland, as well. The release date of the Australian versions by Penguin Australia is September 13.

Yes, Casa Editrice Nord has acquired the Italian language rights to both books. As you know, I have a deep appreciation for Italian history and culture. So it's with tremendous joy that I make this announcement.
