4 YA Book Trends to Look for in 2015 (from the Huffington Post)
In her article appearing in today’s Huffington Post, Lisa Parkin writes:
Tired of dystopia? Over the “sick lit” craze? Ready for a new wave of vampire books? If you answered yes to these questions (I was just kidding about that last one), then you’ll be happy to know that young adult fiction has some new topics and trends coming atcha in 2015!
And there’s All the Bright Places under the “Dealing with Loss” category alongside Gayle Forman’s I Was Here, Michelle Falkoff’s Playlist for the Dead, and Cynthia Hand’s The Last Time We Say Goodbye.
Thank you, Lisa Parkin and the Huffington Post!

Phil Earle reviews All the Bright Places, and I am elated!

Finished. Stunning. The YA bar just got raised a country mile. Thank you @jenniferniven pic.twitter.com/BCMZCsk5o9

The lanyard is apparently the latest thing in cat toys. Penny Scout Finch came across it this morning on a bookshelf and brought it into my office. It is her new favorite plaything.
I love this review of All the Bright Places!
Seriously. It may be my favorite so far.
From the Notebook Sisters, two (yes) sisters from Australia who “eat books.” Cait and Mime are amazing, and I’m not just saying that because they wrote the world’s coolest blog post about my novel.
