We have received no mail since the 17th of December. Our postman decided to take an extended vacation and did not think to remind his superiors that a replacement was in order, as the holidays were coming. Cards needed to delivered, gifts needed to reach their final destination, and while I take no issue with a man taking a three week holiday, I do condemn him for having left someone's birthday present and holiday gifts in his truck before leaving on holiday. He has made someone very unhappy ....

Story for the Day: A Tin of Chocolate

Someone received a tin of fondue chocolate for his birthday. That same someone was also rather displeased with his gift.

It is the grand lie of time, the scourge of science, the blight on biological understanding, and since we are now approaching the longest night of the year, it is quite safe to say that no matter what time we think it is, it still becomes dark far too early. Bankucha is the national cake of Lucentia. While Lucentia has many national dishes, bankucha, or the tree ring cake, is protected by the crown, and the methods of making it are not allowed to be shown outside of Lucentia capital. Fortunately for an expat like Danaco, there are those like him who would do anything for a taste of home again, even if it means having a warrant issued for their capture.
