50 State Virtual Book Tour

This year I wanted to do something a little different. Since I can’t do a live book tour (time and travel costs), I figured maybe a VIRTUAL 50 state tour could also be fun. You know, as practice for when I can actually hit the road and visit all y’all where you live.

On the day I’m ‘touring’ your state you can get special prices and prizes. I’m ‘visiting’ the states in alphabetical order because that’s a lot easier to do online than in person. On the day I visit your state I want to hear from...

What Order Do I Read These In Again?

Recently I received an email from a reader confused by the winding timeline of the Haberdashers novels and novellas. While trying to explain it to her I realized that it was, uh, much more confusing in reality than it ever was in my brain. So, here is the write up in case you have ALSO found yourself confused.

[image error]The series are listed in order under “by series” on the front page on my website (https://bysuelondon.com/#series), but let me sum it up for you here in chronological order (although th...

Winter Plans

For some reason, Christmas always seems like the height of winter to me (because we all dream of a white Christmas?), but really it’s just the beginning of the winter season. So what all will be going on in Sue Land while nature sleeps in my part of the world? A few things.

First up, it’s important to say that the First Act (Books 1-4) of the Haberdashers is getting an editorial overhaul before being packaged into a boxed set. In keeping with a winter hibernation, during that time I will be p...

The Mad Clan

Last year I was invited to participate in a collection of Regency retellings of fairytales. From my afterword in the book:

When invited to write about a fairytale or myth, my mind went to Ireland. It had been some time since I’d read any of the tales, so I flipped through looking for something to catch my eye. The first time I read through The Enchanted Cave from the Fenian Cycle I actually misread a portion of it, but thought my mistake would make for an interesting twist. In the original ta...
