three thing thursday

thing one -- cupcakes is on sale at Dreamspinners today

thing two -- Happy Spring! I do love spring, it's just usually too short, as in summer takes over way before I want it to. At the same time, I'm not upset that at the moment, it's still definitely winter out there. Yay snow!

thing three -- there is no thing three

Velvet Scars, a VG Resurrection Tale now out!

The second in the new Velvet Glove series is now out!

Argon is the new master of the body mods shop at the rebuilt Velvet Glove and he needs an apprentice. He’s hoping for someone who will not only want to learn how to pierce, tattoo, scar and brand, but who is interested in being his submissive as well.

Brother Yves arrives at the body mods shop on a mission from the clerics of Mount Bell. The cloister has been his only home and he is totally innocent. Scared and far away from home, he nonetheless forges forward and presents himself to Master Argon, insisting that he is destined to be with the man.

Are Argon and Yves too different to find common ground, or are they destined to be together forever?

The Dog Next Door is re-released!

Resplendence Publishing have re-released my book The Dog Next Door - look at the great cover!

Keifer’s a vet with a secret. Felix is his hunky next door neighbor. One weekend when they’re both out enjoying a beautiful Saturday morning, Felix asks Keifer out for dinner and ice cream. One thing leads to another and the two discover they’re very compatible, in and out of bed.

Keifer’s got that secret, though, and he’s not sure exactly how to tell Felix about it, and he’s more than a little worried about how Felix is going to take it. What happens when the truth comes out unexpectedly, and that truth has a tail?

**Publisher’s Note** This title has been previously released. The cover art and publisher have changed.

It's available here.

My God It's Monday

It so is. I hate the time change.

I have a Top Five things to do in bed post loving over on the TRS Blog today. It's a pg list, though, so I thought I'd put up a less pg version here:
undo the retraints
take off the condom, glove back up and do it again
post-orgasm blow jobs!
snuggle (this should always be on the list)
watch your lover roll over and go to sleep, then spank him until he wakes back up

Also, congrats to Gail, the winner of a print copy of Stand to Attention!

Did I mention that I hate the time change?

Oh yes -- I just got the cover for my BDSM short story collection -- Yes, Master. Love it!

Okay, so that mitigates the time change a fair bit... ;)

Movie Day Tuesday

The Imaginarium of Dr. Parnassus

"The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus" is a fantastical morality tale, set in the present day

So this is a very weird movie. Of course it was written and directed by Terry Gilliam, so that explains a large portion the weirdness. It's also Heath Ledger's last film and he died before it was finished, so Gilliam made some magic happen so that it could still be released and that explains the rest. The way they worked around things, for me, was an integral part of the tale, which very much felt like an old fashioned morality tale. The main group of folks even travel from place to place and set up their shows from their wagon, much as they used to when morality tales were all the rage.

Weird, but very compelling. I went in not knowing the plot at all, and for that I was grateful -- I hate it when I know what's going to happen. I much prefer seeing things unfolding as was intended by the folks who worked on the film.

Definitely not my usual fare, but I'm glad I saw it.

Plus, Heath Ledger's last movie. And the way Gillian and some of Heath's friends got together to finish the movie is a great story in and of itself.

~~~
Also, I am on the Totally Bound blog today -- giving my ABCs of Kink, and also talking The Briar Rose over at the TRS blog.
~~~

PS -- my readers rock and I love you all -- Malting is currently #1 in all three Amazon categories it's in.
