August woke at far too early an hour Christmas morning. He might have groaned, but then he felt the warm snuggly body of his wonderful boy and suddenly he was glad he was up early. His very own Christmas gift lay there with him, looking sweet as pie.

He must have been a very good boy because Santa had been extra good to him this year.

Day 20 Winner

Smutty Advent, Day 23

Simon put the last fork into the dishwasher, added the bar of soap and closed the door. He set it for heavy duty wash. He'd turn it on as soon as he had the handwashing done. There was a ton to do, but he was getting it started while Jeremy entertained the last stragglers from their single ornament Christmas party. He wasn't sure how beer and barbeque had resulted in so many dirty pots.

Still, it was a good thing they did. He and Jeremy had each other, the men who came to them on Christmas Day had no one. It was good for their souls and always left him happy, if tired.

Hearing the front door close, he smiled and turned on the dishwasher before heading to the front room where his Jeremy was. The handwashing could wait.

Smutty Advent, Day 22

Benji checked on the twins, then on Carrie, who wasn't in her bed. Frowning, he went back to bed, double checking that she hadn't climbed in without him noticing, but Will was on his own, so he went to go downstairs, nearly tripping over his sweet girl. She was sitting on the stairs, clutching her baby doll tight to her chest, fast asleep. Waiting up for Santa. God, that was the cutest thing he'd ever seen.

He managed to pick her up without waking her, and carried her back to her bed, setting her down and pulling the covers over her.

He took last look before he went back to bed, back to his husband to be, saying a little prayer of thanks to whoever it was who looked out for mannies who just wanted a family of their own.

“Everything okay?” Will asked.

Ben smiled, but his eyes looked a little wet. "Yeah, the girls are fast asleep."

“That’s good, right? We still have presents to put out.”

"It's good. I didn't mean to wake you -- you looked so peaceful sleeping there."

“Mmm.” Will wrapped around him, holding close. “Love.”

Ben smiled at him, peace and happiness on his face. "Love you, Will."

“Mmhmm. Love. Sleep. Santa.”

"Yes, boss."

Will chuckled and held on.

Knight stared at the tree, frowned. “It’s crooked.”

Bish’s eyebrow arched. “It’s not crooked.”

“Is too.”

“Not.”

“Too.”

Bishop crossed his arms over his chest. “No.”

“Jase!”

Jason’s head popped around the door seconds later. “What?”

“The tree is crooked.”
