TGIF!
Last Friday before Christmas! I'm not quite sure where December went -- I always find that once we hit the fall, the days and weeks and months disappear like the water in a fast running river.
I'm taking part in Long and Short Review's Winter Blogfest this year.

My post will be going up on December 25. Be sure to check all the posts out -- each author is doing a contest with a prize!
I currently have five books on the ARE bestseller list. A Family of His Own, Top Bidder, Deeper, Keeping Sir Thorne, and Totally Covered! Thank you so much to my readers -- you are awesome!
I once again seem to have exclamation-itis!
I also have sea-salt caramel from a local bakery. It is to die for -- not too sweet and not too salty. Just the right amount of everything. So, so good.
I am going to stuff myself over the next week, I can tell!
In the meantime, it'll be five o'clock soon and there's some holiday beer with my name on it -- it is, after all, almost the weekend!

Smutty Advent, Day 19
Burke caught himself humming again. He couldn't helpit, though. It was their first Christmas with their boy and everything seemed a little brighter, a little cheerier than other years. In all the time they'd known Mal, they'd never shared the holiday - Mal had been working, letting the guys with family have Christmas off. This year Mal had a family.
This year Mal had them.
Mal was throwing tinsel on the tree and Dar was in the kitchen, making them some sort of fancy Christmas cocktail.
"That's not how you do it," he told Mal, coming up behind his boy.
“Bullshit.” Mal leaned back against him.
"No, it's true." He wrapped his arms around Mal, leaned his chin on his lover's shoulder. "You put them on one at a time."
“No way.” Mal sounded utterly disbelieving.
"Yes, way." He leaned over Mal and grabbed a handful of tinsel from the tree and began laying it on each branch, about five per branch, one at a time. "See?"
“Uh-huh.” Mal tossed another handful.
"You're asking for a spanking."
He could feel Mal tense, then another handful was thrown.
"Oh-ho!" He laughed, tickled right through.
Darby came out with a tray of festive looking cocktails. "Oh-ho?"
"Yep. Our boy wants his hide tanned but good."
“He’s criticizing my decorating technique.”
Dar watched for a minute, then opined, "That's because you're doing it wrong, Mal."
Mal looked at Dar, lips pursing. “You’re totally fired, man.”
Dar laughed. "If I promise to spank you harder than Key does, will you forgive me?"
"You can't spank harder than me," Burke protested. His hands were just a bit bigger than Dar's.
Mal rolled his eyes and very deliberately sprinkled them both with the tinsel before going to sit down.
"Oh, I get first dibs," said Dar, stalking over to the couch.
"Cool -- you get him nice and red, I'll apply the tinsel." He gave Mal his best wicked grin. Merry fucking Christmas to them.
Burke, Darby and Mal are from Totally Covered and are totally demanding that I write their beginning.

Top Bidder, a Hammer story
Top Bidder came out last week and continues in the tradition of the Hammer Club Charity Christmas Auction. This year, sweet, curious waiter Kurt winds up on the auction block, much to the delight of Master August, who has had his eye on the boy.
I just love the cover!

Kurt joined the staff as a waiter at the Hammer Club because he wanted a Master of his own. He’s shy, though, and just one boy among the many looking for that special someone to dominate them. In fact, he’s working the night of the Hammer’s Annual Christmas Auction when Master Marcus asks him to fill in for a sub stuck in traffic.
Master August noticed Kurt when he first started working at the Hammer, but hadn’t approached the boy, wondering if they were compatible. When he sees Kurt on the auction block, he figures it’s the perfect time to test out their chemistry without putting any pressure on either of them.
Will Kurt and August find what they’re looking for in each other? Find out in the Christmas Hammer tale.
You can buy it here.
There's an excerpt here. And there is a lightly naughty one
Auggie had been surprised to find the boy he'd been watching for weeks up on the auction block. The last minute addition had been the perfect Christmas present for himself, the perfect opportunity to see if there was anything more to his personal obsession.
Slender and fine, Kurt made his prick stand up and take notice. Kurt was so interested, eager, and fascinating in his innocence. The guy wasn't bad-looking either, just the opposite in fact. Lean, almost bird-like, with warm brown eyes and chestnut hair just long enough to curl around the angular face, Kurt made him want to expose and explore.
Cupping Kurt's cheek, he leaned in and took another kiss. Warm hands landed on his shoulders, and the sweet lips parted. Oh yes, the instinctive response was everything he could have asked for. He slipped his tongue into Kurt's mouth, gently exploring. Such a dear baby boy, moaning for him, eyes falling closed.
He slid one hand to Kurt's shoulder, up beneath the edge of the shirt, pushing it off Kurt's shoulder. Kurt's hand fell away from his arm, and he guided the shirt sleeve down Kurt's arm and off. The fine-grained skin was unmarked -- no bruises, no ink. A blank canvas.
He worked the other sleeve off as well, leaving Kurt bare from the waist up. That lovely skin called to his fingers, and he traced the lightly defined muscles, imagined leaving his bruises on the pale skin. He moaned at the thought, and the sound made Kurt shiver for him.
"Would you like to take my shirt off, sweet boy?"
"Please." Kurt's fingers shook, fumbling at his buttons. God, so adorable.
He didn't help -- Kurt was going to have to do this on his own. It took a couple of minutes, but Kurt managed, smoothing the cotton down his arms, fingers on his skin.
"Mmm. Your fingers are leaving tingles on my skin."
"I'm glad." The gentle touches continued, teasing him.
Auggie knew how bold Kurt had to be feeling, touching him like this, and he rewarded that bravery with soft moans of pleasure. He watched Kurt's throat work, those eyes exploring his body.
Reaching out, he touched Kurt's right nipple. The tiny bit of flesh drew up, almost kissing his fingertip. Humming softly, he ran his fingertip back and forth across the little nipple. Tighter and tighter, it responded, filling with blood, turning a sweet rose.
"Mmm. You'd look lovely decorated, wearing my jewelry."
"Decorated?" Kurt's eyes were on his body, on him.
"Yes. Nipple rings? Or maybe barbells..."
"Oh." Kurt blinked at him. "Oh, that would be intense."
"It would." He stroked Kurt's cheek. "Intense is a part of what we do here."
"I know. That's why I came. I wanted to know."
He loved Kurt's big blue eyes. "I would love to be your teacher."
"Can I ask a question? Why me?"
"Because I've been watching you since your first day. You're earnest and hardworking, not to mention very easy on the eyes."
Kurt laughed softly. "Oh, that's so nice to hear. I feel so plain next to the amazing men here."
"You? Plain?" Auggie shook his head. "Never. You are a lovely boy. Intriguing."
Kurt's eyes shone, the expression so pleased.
Leaning in, Auggie took another kiss, letting himself sink into Kurt's mouth, into the heat and taste of it. Kurt stepped closer, and their bodies touched, Kurt's abs rippling as they connected. Humming, pleased that Kurt had chosen on his own to move closer, Auggie slid his hands down along Kurt's back, enjoying the sensation of smooth, warm skin beneath his fingertips.
"Oh." Kurt's gasp filled his lips, the tiny sound making his cock jerk. Someone was very sensitive. Kurt was even more of a prize than he'd imagined.

Smutty Advent, Day 18
Frank finished putting the tree up and got it straightened. Gordon was making stew and something chocolate from the scent. He could hear his lover singing at the top of his lungs. He was pretty sure it was supposed to be Silent Night.
Whatever it was, it made him smile and turn his hearing aids up.
He didn’t want to miss a single note.
Frank and Gordon are from Push -- currently on sale!

Smutty Advent, Day 17
It had taken Mark three days to completely understand where the Christmas tree was, even though Pablo put it in the same place every year. He was convinced in the back of his mind that it was secretly alive and moving a few inches, every day, just to brush against him.
He was considering throwing it in the lake.
He heard whistling -- Jingle Bells -- and Pablo's footsteps coming toward him.
"Did you buy a zombie tree?"
The steps stopped and the whistling faltered, faded away. "Did I what?"
"The tree. When you bought it, did you know it wanted to eat me?"
Pablo's laughter was sweet and his lover came to him and slid both arms around his waist. "It does not."
"Does too." He leaned back, snuggled. "Stupid shifting tree."
"What makes you think it's shifting?" Pablo left soft kisses on his neck.
"I keep hitting it. When you put the ornaments on, I'm going to be dangerous."
"Huh. You don't usually run into new things more than a day or so."
"I know. See? Zombie Mark Eating Tree."
Pablo laughed for him again. "Oh, god, I love you."
"Uh-huh. Right. My lover buys a carnivorous pine out of love..." He had to smile, playing with Pablo was the best.
"Has it actually taken a bite out of you yet?"
A wicked idea bloomed in the base of his skull and he opened his arms. "You'll have to look and see."
Mark and Pablo are from Second Sight.

Smutty Advent, Day 16
Rook turned on the Christmas music and wrapped his cock with a big red ribbon around the base. He knew Jason, Knight and Bishop were all together in the living room, so he wasn't going to have chase anyone down.
Walking into the room, he called out, "Ho, ho, ho, Merry Christmas! Who's going to come open my package?"
The men of Chess can be found here.

Smutty Advent, Day 15
Billy chuckled as they got home, carrying all their shopping bags in. They'd had a good shop -- their list was now complete, he even had Montana's gift all sorted. And it was still well before Christmas. "Poor Marcus just hates shopping in crowds."
“He does. I’m always so busy this time of year.”
“You're closing the shop on the twentieth this year, right?" They were volunteering a few days at the soup kitchen this year, and had ordered a ton of Christmas cookies from Beat and Cream to deliver on Christmas Eve. But Billy wanted to spend more time just the two of them this year.
“Yeah, yeah. That’s okay, right?”
"It's perfect." He set the bags down and drew Tanny to him. "I want to spend more time with you. Maybe we could think of going somewhere for New Year's this year."
“That might be good, something quiet and private.”
Billy nodded. "On the beach. Or near it at least." He took a kiss, lips lingering.
“Works for me. I’m ready for a break.”
"Good. It'll be our Christmas present to us." Something for just the two of them. Not that he didn't love their friends, but he felt like he was missing his boy lately.
Tanny nodded. “I’d like that.”
"I think we should preview our holiday activities." He picked Tanny up, his boy's legs wrapping around his waist as he carried Tanny toward the bedroom.
“A preview, hrm. Are we going to play?”
"My brilliant boy." Laughing, he dumped Tanny onto the bed.
“That’s me, sparkling.”
Billy loved how happy Tanny was, and how happy Tanny made him.
"My very own Christmas light," he murmured.
“Dork.” Tanny looked pleased.
He didn't deny it. He'd be a fool for his boy, a dork, a nutjob, a needy master, or whatever silly, cheesy thing there was. Because Tanny was his Christmas all year 'round.
Leaning in and pressing their mouths together, he agreed with Montana the best way he knew how.

Smutty Advent, Day 14
Marcus handed out the coffees and sat at the table Jim and Tanny had managed to find in the Starbucks. Billy was right behind him with snacks. Jesus, he hated shopping during the Christmas rush -- witch seemed to come earlier every year.
"I sprang for the great big one," he noted, more to let know Jim know he had a huge pile of caffeine there.
“Are we sharing, Master?” Jim looked surprisingly happy, even with the hustle and bustle.
"I thought that would be nice. That way we both taste like peppermint latte."
“Yum!” Look at that smile. He beamed right back.
"You having a good day, baby?"
“I am. It’s been fun. You?”
"I'm enjoying this part a lot -- I love spending time with you."
Billy put something with cranberries in it in front of them and sat next to Tanny.
Tanny grinned at him, winked. “You know that’s what you say when you really don’t want to do something.”
"Shut up." He might hate shopping when it was crowded, but he'd rather do that with Jim than anything else without his baby.
Tanny hooted, the grin huge.
"Your boy is a brat, Billy."
Billy just grinned, nodded. "That's why I love him."
“Because he’s a butthead?” Jim asked.
Marcus laughed and leaned in to kiss Jim's nose. "I do love you, baby."
“Good.” Jim grinned for him, even as Tanny popped him.
"Tsk, tsk. That's my job, Tanny." He gave Montana a wink and reached out, but instead of swatting Jim, he stroked.
“Be good, Master.”
"I'm being very good. Of course if we're done shopping we can go home and I'll be even better, baby."
Jim’s grin got wider. “I’m done shopping.”
"I have one thing left to buy, but I need to do it on my own. Finish the coffee, baby." He knew exactly how to counteract all that caffeine.
Jim’s eyes lit up, and he sucked up the coffee.
Grinning, Marcus sat back and took a bite of the cranberry sweet. This day was getting better every second.
