I want to have Anne Cain ’s babies.

…Okay, no I don’t. But still. So perfect I could just die.

There is no understanding the vagaries of my... humor

I was up later than usual the other night, and when I finally went up to bed, my husband had fallen asleep with the television on. Tuned to the Cartoon Network. (I know--so cute. *pinches his cheeks*)

So I'm getting ready for bed, not really paying attention to whatever was on, until I looked up and saw what appeared to be a cartoon milkshake talking to what appeared to be a cartoon box of fries. A cartoon box of fries with a fu-manchu. And then they both started talking to what I thought at first was a little chicken nugget, but actually turned out to be a meatwad. Which also actually turned out to be the character's name. Meatwad.

*falls down*

Aqua Teen Hunger Force is generally not a show I would purposely tune to. Which just goes to show you how many worthy--'worthy' being, of course, a subjective term--things I've probably missed over the years. Because I don't know if it was the late hour or the show itself, but this thing had me rolling. In last night's episode, they were making a mucus man. Which is exactly what it sounds like.

Apparently, in some ways I'm still ten.

Note to self:

Editors will not let you 'fix' grammar rules because you think they're stupid.

Got it.

But still.

Cherry-blossom should be hyphenated, damn it!

ALSO!

I'm pleased to announce that Dreamspinner Press has contracted to publish all four books in the Wolf's-own series. Book One: Ghost, Book Two: Weregild, Book Three: Koan and Book Four: Incendiary will begin publishing Feb/Mar of 2012 and finish in Jun/Jul 2012.

Synopses and 'verse outtake stories can be found on my website. Now I'm going to go and see if I can remember how to add books to GR. *sigh*

Aisling excerpt

Well, last I heard, the last installment of Aisling should be out in a couple weeks, so it’s excerpt time!

Follow the link and don’t kill me…

EXCERPT Aisling, Book Three: Beloved Son

No, seriously—don’t kill me. Or you’ll never get any more Lucas and Alex. Just saying.

I’ll post buy links when it goes live. Provided no one kills me. *backs away slowly*

Updatey-type nattering

Hokey smokes, Bullwinkle!

Just finished the proofing for book three of Aisling and then jumped right in to first edits of Wolf's-own. (Nobody likes my hyphens, damn it!) The headspace-shift is whiplash inducing!

Everything is still on schedule thus far. Aisling should be out in another month or so, and Wolf's-own will start publishing in Feb/Mar. So far. Subject to the vagaries of publishing, of course.

One day, I might have time to write again!

P.S. to Cole: yes, you read that right--they came already! 0_0)

Not bad, yeah?

Publication is still slated for December, so I'll keep you posted. I don't have an excerpt ready yet, but Wil continues to be his snarky, Who're you calling puny? self and Dallin continues to be gobsmacked by him. I'll get a real excerpt up soon-ish. :)
