New Book-Happy Times
I just re-published an updated and improved RISE of the CHOSEN: The Black Awakening.
The second book in this series will be published by the end of the month.
After writing the second book, I realized my writing skills improved greatly. So, I decided to go back and see what I could improve. I was actually surprised to see alot that needed improvement. There's no shame

My 1st Editorial Review

5 Stars - Congratulations on your 5-star review!
In Light of the Magos: The Spark Within, T.A.C. Wilson creates a world that is both familiar and alien. Modern Ireland is a land of magic, both good and bad, but among the magic wielders are two distinct sides. The Intellects are the hereditary traditional holders of the arts, and the Jenkins family wishes to maintain their dominance. A new movement called The Gifted nurtures and teaches magical power to anyone with aptitude and they are championed by the Custer family. Colby Custer enters the International School for the Gifted and the Intellect, together with his friends. Settling into a new school has the expected difficulties, but where all students and teachers are Magos, then intrigue and danger are always present. When Faith Jenkins' life is endangered, blame is put on Colby Custer, and more fuel is added to the families' feud, but Faith knows the truth.
There are echoes of the divisions of Ireland and of Romeo and Juliet as two young people from opposing families join to work together, and clear parallels to other famous wizardry series, but Light of the Magos stands apart. Modern in approach, with DNA, CIA, Garda, and crime, T.A.C. Wilson tells an exciting, and at times, humorous story where magic, fables, and technology co-exist. The writing style is fast-paced, the characters are believable, and the story is intriguing. Aimed at the young adult market, Light of the Magos will satisfy the appetites of those readers who enjoy their fantasy laced with romance, school settings, twists, turns, and family intrigues. This is an excellent debut and a satisfying and enjoyable read. I look forward to more from the author.

Beginnings
As a therapist, I encourage my clients to set goals, and to actually pursue them. When it came to writing my first novel, LIGHT of the MAGOS, I decided to take my own advice.
Writing a book is something that I have wanted to do since college, but I always told myself, “you won’t succeed” or “I don’t even know how I would publish it.” I was my own worst enemy. This is something with which most people struggle. People are hardest on themselves, typically setting unrealistically high standards. They don’t allow themselves to make mistakes, and judge themselves the harshest. This is not a good way to go about life. In fact, it can keep a person from pursuing the that things they want. Most of all, doing these things to yourself will make and keep you unhappy.
People need to learn how to be kind to themselves. They should allow, and be okay with, making mistakes. I also want to encourage everyone to pursue that one thing. Do not hold yourself back. And know that pursuing a goal is done in steps and is not accomplished overnight.
Like I said above, I decided to take my own advice. This is something I have always wanted to do, so what would it hurt? First, I decided it would be fiction, fantasy, and involve magic. Next, I thought of a very basic storyline. I spent the next few weeks writing down ideas. They were coming very fast. Then, I started putting together the outline and story. A passion was for writing was awakened.
Thanks for reading. I will update from time to time.
