I don't know if you have been keeping up with the most recent controversy involving David Karp and him wondering if he could use the N word.
I just started reading about it and it’s definitely cause for concern, when coupled with the fact that there is a definite pattern at Tumblr, where a POC gets warned for ‘hate speech,’ when defending themselves from ACTUAL hate speech.
I don’t know anything about David Karp, but if Tumblr wants to be taken seriously as a welcoming and inclusive site, they need to be both forthcoming and transparent, and right damn skippy.
