So it's been a year of the new 52, and I was hoping you could answer my biggest question about it. Who does Genesis ask for help in "Land of Confusion"? Superman hasn't been around long enough for it to be him. Could it be a comic strip character like Garf

Headcanon seems to be all we have for Steph right now. :(

But when she comes back, I hope she comes back with a strong position of her own in the DCU, one that doesn’t rely on any other characters directly. She will have the best chance to thrive if she isn’t just a supporting cast member in someone else’s book (unless it’s Batman directly).

I am a bit concerned about the “think I’d like to write,” to be honest. This is something that takes a lot of passion and commitment. It’s difficult to break in, and difficult to STAY in once you have broken in. So please give all that a serious look and figure out a plan of attack.

Not trying to scare you off, but this is tough stuff, and I want people to be prepared.

Surprise Store Signings In Halifax Tomorrow!

Because I’m here an extra couple days, the convention organizers have arranged a couple store signings at two of Halifax’s awesome comics shops, Tuesday, October 30.

The first is at QUANTUM FRONTIER, from 11:00-1:00

The second is at STRANGE ADVENTURES, from 2:00-4:00.

These should be fun, hope some of you can make it to say hello! I can’t imagine it will be too crowded on such short notice, but I am happy to sign as many books as you would like to bring, and of course I don’t charge for signatures, so please come by!

Wait, so DC wouldn't just give you the comics that you wrote for free if you asked? Like, ship them to you, or whatever? I always assumed there was some sort of privilege, an "employee discount" or something. That's funny that there isn't.

No, dc hsd an incredibly generous comp program, the bedt in the industry. but it doesn’t yet include digital copies. I sm sure they are working on it.
