I am told it’s been confirmed that she IS, which is great, because the roster needs more people. I would love to see some obscure characters and more non-bat characters, as well.

Was the Movement your idea? How did you develop it?

It was my idea, yes, it started as a germ of an idea when it became very clear that the mainstream media was not covering protests for civil rights, no matter how large the crowds were.

I couldn’t help thinking, what if they HAD to pay attention to the voices of the disenfranchised?

A lot of what comics are about right now are artificial conflicts and the protection of valuables. I think, just for balance, it’s interesting to have another pov.

People think the book is purely from a liberal perspective, but we will see that’s not entirely the case. It’s going to be challenging at times, which I love.

Development was the same way I develop anything, think about it endlessly, take a million notes, then get paired up with a wonderful artist who can design those notes into a visual form.

Having a great editor in Joey Cavalieri helps a lot, too.

I love "The Movement." Virtue is my favorite, so far, but I also have a soft spot for Mouse, Prince of Rats. Could his real name be Ben, and could his favorite singer be Michael Jackson? Just a thought...

Makin’ BEST ANTIHERO BFFS goodies in eager anticipation of Gail Simone’s appearance at Third Eye on Saturday! Guys, they outrank Cable and Deadpool on my “favorite antihero bros 4 lyfe” list. That says so much. 

 I lovelovelove the all the new teen characters we’re getting in The Movement and the Secret Six returnees we’re getting, but ahmahgaaaahhddd I’m just gonna hold out hope that means we get a glimpse of MORE SECRET SIXERS at some point because REASONSSSSSS.

I only got to read the BEAUTIFUL letter you sent with your friend to Free Comic Book Day this morning. It meant a lot to me, thank you for the kind words!

I also wanted to thank you for the FABULOUS art, Black Canary and MOST ESPECIALLY THOSE GORGEOUS MOVEMENT mini-drawings! I squeed out loud, they are AMAZING!

Had an AMAZING Free Comic Book Day at Third Eye Comics, there were lines all day, I was positively slammed, and met a ton of people from Tumblr and Twitter that I already miss. I wish you people all lived in Oregon so I could visit whenever I wanted!

Apparently no one is buried there. She posted about it on her Tumblr -> "NO ONE IS BURIED THERE THERE IS LITERALLY NO ONE UNDER THAT GRAVE AND PERSON THAT WAS SUPPOSE TO BE THERE WAS DISPROVED BY THE HISTORICAL GROUP IN MY TOWN." I guess she got some flak
