In Search of a Comprehensive Morality: I have been working at the local comics festival here in Bergen all...:

wyltarg:

I have been working at the local comics festival here in Bergen all weekend, which counted Gail Simone among its attendees. I saw two of her panels which were both great, and got a bunch of my comics signed, with some good help from her husband who was gracious enough to bring them to her for me…

It was a delight to meet you! You were the girl who was working upstairs when I was signing, right?

You gave me the kiss, right?

Is Red Sonja a female power fantasy?

I think so, when handled that way. Again, her stories have usually been great but sometimes the art worked against that portrayal.

Hey Gail, I really excited for The Movement #5 and was wondering, how long is the opening story arc for this book? Not to demand spoilers or anything, I'm just curious to see how it compares to your other work, like Secret Six and Wonder Woman! Do prefer a

The first two arcs are four issues each, and then after we have some shorter stories, with a  very, very cool guest star. :)

I like to start a book with a story that is long enough to really make an impact. Secret Six’s ongoing started with a seven issue arc, I think, Wonder Woman with four.

Have you read any other Villain's Month one-shots? If so, which ones did you enjoy?

I have not actually read them!  I am behind because I’ve been traveling a lot. Hope to catch up when I get home.
