It kind of breaks my heart the way she refers to her here, “my Harley Quinn.”



To be honest, I think it’s out of character for Ivy to refer to her that way. Ivy has always been about Harley empowering herself and being her own person. 


"My Harley Quinn" implies Harley is hers, which goes against her efforts to teach Harley to be self-reliant.



That is a fair point, but Ivy is clearly emotionally low right in this moment.

This morning, from the fine folks at DC Comics, we have an exclusive five page preview of “Batgirl” #31, due out on Wednesday, May 14th. Of special note is the gorgeous Mike Allred “Batman ’66″ variant cover, featuring Yvonne Craig as Batgirl from the classic show. The issue also features the return of Ragdoll, the Peter Merkel version of which was co-created by Simone, and featured prominently in her “Secret Six” run.
