This scene. It kills me. Every single time.

There aren’t that many films with father/daughter themes that can approach what happens in this scene alone.

I met the director and tried to explain to him how important this scene was to me, and he told me he was a fan of my work and I swear, I nearly died on the spot.

PLUS he drew me a Mushu!

After a long hard day of protecting the city of Gotham, Batman just needs to relax for a bit, you know?

THOSE SOCKS.

Sigh.

Everyone should have a greyhound. Especially me.

We actually did have a plan for Barbara, as Oracle, to have a service dog. I did a metric TON of research on it, talked with some of the best trainers and dozens of people who had service dogs, and it was all set to go, when I was taken off Birds of Prey and it never happened.

But yeah, Babs should have a greyhound.

Except they don’t all do well with cats, and Alaska could kick a dog’s ass.

Have you played Eberron?

I don’t know what that is.

Favorite RPG and why?

I have three.

Dungeons and Dragons, because it’s the classic party role-playing game and needs no set-up for new players, they don’t need to know a particular world’s rules or setting. They can just jump in with the rest of the group and go. Also, I met my hubby @Rocketspouse playing D&D!

Empire of the Petal Throne, my all time favorite gaming world. It’s a bit obscure, but it has the complexity of Tolkien, in a completely original world created by professor M.A.R. Barker. Loved it, felt like actually visiting somewhere very different.

Call of Cthulhu, just loved the mix of horror and hard-boiled genres. My hubby was the BEST game master for this game. You would come away just genuinely disturbed and frightened. Great fun.

I don’t DM anymore, it’s too much like work for me now. But I love roleplaying!

M(r?)s, Simone, I just felt I should let you know that I desperately wish you were the head writer for Blizzard Entertainment because then I would actually be respected by the creators of my favorite franchise instead of being treated like a punch line.

I am honestly not aware of this topic at all. Can someone fill me in on what the poster is referring to?

I have been asked to write for games several times, it hasn’t generally worked out time-wise. I was asked to work on the Gears of War series, a few other things. I’d love to do it someday because I am such an avid gamer myself.
