Text Reads:
I came out to my mom as FTM over the week (a day prior to my 26th birthday, actually) & she says “God wanted you to be a girl when you were born”. Excuse, me, but, who are you to say to me what “God wants” when I’ve KNOWN WHO I AM after 26 years of stifling the REAL ME on the inside? God has no say on that matter, only I DO. Submitted by Eli

Pssst.

Eli is…

ME!

:)

HUGS YOU TIGHT

So proud of you for coming out hon…and don’t listen to a thing your mom says about this, she has no right to tell you that you are ‘Really’ a woman or any bigoted nonsense like that…

Thanks.

(If I could get a hug gif in, over here, I’d give you plenty of them!)

I am proud of you, Eli!

Can’t wait to meet you at NY:Special Edition!

Hi Gail! How're you today? I was hoping you might have some thoughts/memories of the poignant & expressive works of Dr. Maya Angelou. I was very sad to hear of her passing today (though not devastated, she was elderly), and I found myself looking through s

I am very, very embarrassed to say I have not read much of Dr. Angelou’s work. I feel like a bad person!

But some nice people gave me recommendations, and I am hoping to read some this weekend.

That said, I am aware of her grace and cultural significance, and her importance to so many. It sounds like a terrible loss…I am going to read as much of her work this weekend as possible.

Wait - you have to have certification to cut someone's hair?

Oh, yeah, a cosmetology license is way, way tougher to get than people think, and if you mess up, you lose it.

I just let mine lapse.

Are trade-volumes of your run with BOP still available to buy?

Several are out of print at the moment which is just baffling, as BOP was one of the BIG gateway books for new readers, and they can get pretty spendy.

I hope DC rereleases them, they never ever really stopped selling.

Your best bet is probably a brick and mortar store. Good luck!

I was the person you answered saying "I hope you like Vengeance Moth". Problem is, there aren't any comic book stores nearby. Is there a way I can read them online without being a scumbag and a thief?

Sure!

Go to Comixology.com and open an account, it is free to start one, and then you just purchase the books you like and you can read them on your computer, phone or tablet. Almost all the issues are just $1.99 each.

Or you can order them from a comics online service, or Barnes and Noble or Amazon. The first collection is out just last week, I think!

Thank you and good luck!
