I've always wondered at the lack of representation for people with less visible disabilities, such as fibromyalgia or Lyme disease. Barbara Gordon as Oracle was a great representation of visible disabilities, but I have yet to find a good representation of

I don’t talk about this much, for a lot of reasons, but I have fibromyalgia, a pretty severe case, and have had it for a long time. Usually, it is an annoyance, but it is occasionally debilitating and a couple of times, a hospital stay has been necessary. Most people I know are not aware of it at all, which I think is part of what makes it invisible, we often tend not to talk about our conditions.

This is probably not the most well-considered answer, but for me, putting in a character who had fibro really does feel like it would come off as Mary Sue-ish. Upon consideration, I think that is probably bad reasoning. I will have to give it some thought.

I don’t know much about Lyme Disease but it would be interesting to have a character who had something like that. Lord knows a lot of readers suffer from invisible conditions.

Saw your interaction with Ostercy on Twitter (aka the biggest Tomb Raider fandom troll out there) and wanted to say THANK YOU for not engaging him. He thrives on attention and pushing buttons, and I'm so very glad to see you shut him down. I'm fairly cer

I got the sense pretty early that he was a not-very-interesting troll and disengaged, but I heard immediately from a bunch of people who have had to deal with him over the years and it sounds like blocking him was the right idea.

When he was going on about Wonder Woman being a feminazi, I figured troll or not, I no longer gave a crap what he said one way or the other.

Life is simply too short.

Oh, Good Lord

The people at the Glasgow Comic Con are some of the sweetest readers I have ever met. They are adorable and I want to take them all home and have them live in my garage.

It’s a great crowd, people of all kinds, and they are so creative and lovely.

I am happy and feel very grateful I got to be here to meet them!

Glasgow Comic Con!

MAN, this seems like a great event. I can’t wait!

The con organizers are lovely, there are guests like Erik Larsen, Alan Grant, John Wagner, Leah Moore, and lots more, I am judging a cosplay contest, there’s fun panels…

THIS IS GOING TO BE GREAT!

Who is coming today, I ask you?

It looked like the scripts would not be ready, but Sha, the organizer, stayed up until 11:30 at the print shop getting them done, so they will be available here! If you want Batgirl or Secret Six, I really suggest letting us know as early as you can, you don’t have to wait in line, just let the tall blond guy next to me at my table know (that’s my hubby, @rocktspouse)!

Come say hi!
