Any suggestions on something cool to do?

Favorite Secret Six Moment?

I had an interviewer ask me last weekend what was my favorite Secret Six moment, and maybe it was because I was exhausted, but I drew a total blank.

A complete blank, I couldn’t think of ONE. :)

So I am asking you guys…do you have a favorite moment of the Six, or any member of the team?

It doesn’t have to be from one of my stories, if you have a Bane moment you love or Catman or whomever, just as long as it’s at least one of the team.

All answers welcome, I am just curious to know and maybe you can save me some embarrassment next time!

If I remember if you are scrolling around in a tag and decide to make a post without leaving the tag, tumblr will assign a tag to your post because you were searching under that tag. I don't know if that helps, but it certainly is an option.

This sounds right…I bet that is it, exactly.

Okay, so if I am searching a saved tag for whatever reason, leave the tag before making a post.

…why DOES Tumblr keep assigning tags without my input?

Does it do that with everyone?

What am I doing wrong?

In my years on Tumblr, this is the first time it’s caused any real confusion, I think, but I don’t want it to happen again.

Yikes, does Tumblr ever suck sometimes.

I posted a post about a couple comics I read recently that were, I felt, very cynically aimed at the female audience, in a way I thought was very insincere and unconvincing.

Unfortunately, and I HAVE NO IDEA HOW, the tag BATGIRL was attached to my post

Most of you following me know I never remember to post tags whatsoever. Apparently, some tags are just assigned when I don’t even notice, commonly Batgirl, Red+Sonja, and Gail+Simone.

A reader pointed this out and thank goodness they did.

I WAS ABSOLUTELY NOT REFERRING TO BATGIRL. I have met that team, they are completely sincere and devoted.

My apologies for any confusion to Camreron, Brenan and Babs. Someday I will have to actually learn how Tumblr actually WORKS, I guess.

Wow

Some of the recent all-of-a-sudden attempts to appeal to girls and women in comics are ringing very hollow to me, downright condescending at times.

Thank goodness for the good stuff, like Ms. Marvel and Gotham Academy. I think we need a huge influx of female and female-savvy creators from indie comics and other sources because some of this stuff is JUST NOT GOOD.

I am glad to see people make the attempt but sheesh.

EDITED TO ADD: Holy shit, most of you may notice I never remember to do hashtags. If there is ever a hashtag on my post, it’s one that’s there for reasons I don’t even get having to do with Tumblr formatting, I guess.

This post unfortunately decided to have a BATGIRL hashtag, as someone kindly pointed out.

I DO NOT MEAN BATGIRL AND I DID NOT PUT BATGIRL AS A HASHTAG.

Thanks for pointing this out, it’s fixed. Yowch. Sorry, new Batgirl team, has NOTHING to do with your efforts!

Made by Adam Crohn of AC Custom Figures,  it was the first female figure he’d made & I think he did a pretty darn good job of it.
