Did you always intend Roshanna to be asexual, even in Secret Six, or did you not decide that until later, when you were planning the movement. I mean, I could tell she definitely wasn't comfortable with men and was preferential to men in Secret Six, but I
Roshanna was always meant to be ace.
We never really got into whether or not she was aromantic, that will be a story for another time, but she was definitely created as asexual.
It’s interesting, too, because the number of readers I have spoken with who publicly identify as asexual has just exploded in the last couple years. Her Bengali background, I got help on that from a wonderful and generous Bengali woman who is married to a formal Marvel editor I really admire.
I am happy that many of them really took to Tremor right away. Which makes me happy.

Being a comic book fan for most of my life, I tend to lean towards comic book characters when I’m deciding future cosplays. Gail Simone’s Birds of Prey run just meant the world to me. I’m automatically drawn to comics about women but having these really awesome women kicking ass, having close relationships with other women, and being unapologetic about their excellence really did make this series one of my favorites. Black Canary was so well written and you couldn’t help but love her in this series, so I’ve definitely had her on my list of future cosplays for a while.
The rest of the photos are on my facebook!
Oh, my god, you make such a gorgeous Canary!
Joy!

hope you get all your saved games back!
Thank you,...
Hey the asexual lady from your comic post is Tremor and she was created by Gail Simone for the series "The Movement"
Thank you thank you!
(Yessss Gail Simone!)
Man, Does This Week Suck
Seriously, I know I have a million things to be thankful for, and I know lots and LOTS of people have far heavier burdens to worry about.
But this week sucks, worse than any I remember in ages.
Pet photos, kind thoughts, great Cosplay photos, jokes and happy stories would be most welcome right now.
Sorry for whining a bit, it all hit me at once.
