This Morning

Yesterday I made about my millionth joke about Dick Grayson’s ass.

Someone asked me what was better, Magneto’s abs, or Dick Grayson’s ass.

I said you can’t fake Dick butt.

Then I said I wish there was a t-shirt with that quote on it.

Okay, here’s the thing. I was kidding. I don’t really need a t-shirt that says that. But someone, possibly unknowingly, put that shirt design on a shirt at one of those custom shirt places, and I thought that was pretty funny. They also had a little cartoon. 

Someone later on the thread thankfully pointed out that the cartoon AND the character of ‘Dick butt’ already exists, and was created by a cartoonist named KC Green.

NOT COOL.

We do NOT. Repeat NOT. Ever, ever steal from a creator like that. PLEASE. Don’t do it, don’t buy shirts from those who do it. Never, never, ever. It is not allowed, I will never be okay with that.

Dear KC Green, I apologize from the bottom of my heart. I am removing the entire thread. Your cartoon is hilarious and I read that people have swiped it from you in the past, and I disagree with that right down to my bones. I promise I had no idea the character already exists, it was just a silly joke I made about Nightwing’s rear, which is how I spend about 97% of my online time, anyway.

Please don’t buy ANY shirt featuring this character unless it from KC Green themselves!

How is goggies?

Goggies are the best.

When we got them, they were both nervous, but Elektra was fairly calm, I think she had been handled more.

Vixen was terrified. She had never been petted, she had never had a toy or a bed outside of a crate, and we think she had been abused. She flinched or jumped every time anyone stood up. She drooled and panted all night the first night…I stayed up with her and she would not be consoled, she was just too afraid.

Now she has stopped flinching, her head, eyes and ears are always up, her tail wags like metronome, she loves us so much. She’s friendly with other dogs and enthusiastic to meet people. She loved toys, treats, and she thinks going on walks is like heaven. 

That’s the thing about greyhounds, they think every meal is a feast, every nap is a gift, they love their every possession, they are full of joy because all this stuff is stuff they grew up without. 

Rescued dogs are the best and GREYHOUNDS ARE AMAZING.

Fair enough, I guess. But one of the guys said he can’t read the book because I “hate voluptuous women.”

I think my favorite part about gailsimones Red Sonja was her constant want for drink and sexytimes, idek why, maybe it made her more awesome because “I can beat you with my hands tied behind my back” is cliche but “I can beat you while incredibly drunk and horny” the best thing ever

Seriously, what’s more fun than Sonja, this goddess, being sloppily trying to get laid?  Why can’t we have new takes on female heroes? It’s weird.

I hate to lay this card down, but honest to god, no one would even bat an eye if it were a male character.

Sonja may be down and on the verge of death but as we see in this issue she still is just as stubborn as ever. She may be down but certainly not out. Even coming face to face with death can’t slow her down or stop her from casually declining the offer she is given to serve as Death’s personal warrior.

The artwork here is truly incredible with vibrant colors and illustrations jumping off the page. We also see plenty of previous characters make their return so that they may pay their final respects to Sonja before she passes. 

However this is Sonja we’re talking about. She’s got things to do and places to be so after casually and quite literally snubbing Death she puts up another fight to regain her life once more. ‘

Here we see not just Sonja’s physical strength, but also her strength of character and just how many lives she has touched and saved along the way.

This was a fantastic issue and I can’t wait to read more.

Thank you so much, I think this is my favorite issue, not least of which because HOLY GOD WALTER GEOVANI KILLED IT.

It’s one of the finest art jobs I have ever had, on any script anywhere. Mind-blowing.

Hi! So I was wondering if in Secret Six we'll get to see that Doom Patrol rivalry again? I especially enjoyed the last time they met on Oolong Island and I'd love to see how it plays out with these current versions of the characters.

That is a great question.  I THINK there’s a new Doom Patrol coming, isn’t there? Honest to god, I don’t have any inside information, I thought I read that on a news site. I may be wrong.

If there’s a Doom Patrol, I promise, the Secret Six will hate their guts.
