Inspired by some recent happenings in Secret Six, @mirksilua suggested that Ragdoll and Strix should be friends. I heartily agreed so I made it so.
Yaaaaay!
Aww Strix with the dress. Please tell me she is going to be around for a long time. Next to Catman, she is hands down my favorite.
The tofoo doggys were sogy!
She’s one of my absolute favorites, too. I love writing her! Thanks!
I miss your Batgirl :(
Thank you! It’s always an adjustment when a character goes through a significant metamorphosis, there are people who HATED my Batgirl who ADORE the new version, and so there’s going to be a little bit of vice versa.
All I can say is, the current creative team has my full support 100%, and very kindly agreed to let me use Batgirl in an upcoming Secret Six arc, so I am writing her again a little bit!
Still so happy that Scandal, Liana and 'Kay' made it into the new 52 and their relationship still intact. Is Knockout still a New God?
That is something I hope to explore VERY SOON!

Two very exciting books of mine are out today…
SECRET SIX #9 (Catman vs. Aquaman and cool guest stars including a Vertigo favorite) and
CLEAN ROOM #3 (with BBRRRR creepy shit!).
Both of these books have FABULOUS art by Tom Derenick and Jon Davis-Hunt and I am proud to be on these amazing teams!
GO WEIRD!
I have met you and your husband at multiple conventions and you two are both very kind awesome people. But I never learned his name and the more I see him the worse I feel about not knowing it. Is it kept secret for a reason?
It’s not secret, he just doesn’t like to grab the spotlight. He’s super kind and friendly at cons and stuff, he loves meeting readers, but he doesn’t want to be shoving himself into any limelight whatsoever.
He likes being called Rocketspouse. :)

Okay, time to get serious for a moment…:)
A great comics shop, that has been around for MANY YEARS, in Winchester, VA, is having a bit of a temporary shortfall due to a bunch of factors WAY beyond their control.
This is a great shop, I’ve been hearing about it from customers for years, with a dedicated, fiercely loyal staff and owner. They live and breathe comics, and as I said, due to things they had zero control over, they are ‘struggle-bussin’ a little bit right now, and could use your help to get over this little hump in the flow!
The store is FOUR COLOR FANTASIES in Winchester, VA, just an hour and a half from Washington, DC. They have an ENORMOUS inventory of back issues (60,000!), a full selection of new comics, a wonderful staff, and a huge sale on pretty much everything.
This is the kind of store I dearly love, one that loves comics, that cares about its customers. EVERY business has a little obstacle once in a while, so what I am asking is if you could please just drop by if you are anywhere near the area and maybe do a bit of holiday shopping. I will love you forever!
This is their fb page,

And their twitter is @fcfcomics
If you guys don’t live in the area, maybe you could help spread the word? Let’s give a great comics shop a great holiday season, what do you say?
Gail, thank you for showing FCF support. Before I moved 3 years ago, I used to go to FCF almost weekly for years. The store was fantastic, they knew you by name and everyone always felt welcome there. When a friend linked me the bleedingcool article about
Thank you! That store has apparently been there 27 years, and due to some circumstances beyond their control, they are having a very slow period that is making the month a little difficult.
I am delighted to hear that people are jumping in to shop there!
