OTP wait no really
I kind of ship DCAU Question and Huntress pretty hard. Their dynamic in the show was so adorable. And even though their relationship wasn't really portrayed "normally," they were still affectionate in a way that only a couple of nutty people like them could be.

I don't know if I'm making sense.
Probably not.
I need to draw fanart of these two because I LOVE THEM even if in the comics they are very different and I kinda like Huntress with Catman but I'm kinda on the fence about that still and probably always will be especially now with the reboot and WHATEVER THESE ARE DCAU ANYWAY
and I need to go take a shower and pick up my friend for a party. Cool.

As someone who has written both 'ships, and the writer of the above animated episode, I will say I would totally give up my Huntress/Catman love for an in canon Huntress/Question thing. Putting them together is a blast.

Ollie and Dinah, you guys shouldn't even talk.

I absolutely agree, but for the record, Dinah's 'ewww' is purely about the fact that Huntress is kissing a guy with no face or mouth.

I thought that Question's "face" was just a mask? Or am I mixing up DCAU and Comics Question.

It IS just a mask, but it's a convincing illusion. While some masks clearly have a pattern or design, when you see Vic Sage even up close, it looks like he has no face at all, just blank skin. Fine when you are trying to scare perps, a bit creepy when you are watching someone get all up on it! ;)

Do You Ever Find...

…that it's sometimes easier to deal with harsh criticism than effusive praise?

When I started writing comics, I couldn't take a compliment at all. It took a long time to learn that not accepting a compliment just came off as dickish and not very nice to someone who only meant good things. To this day, if I'm reading an extremely positive review or comment, I often have to just put it away and not finish it.  Sometimes it's lovely, sometimes it's a bit squirmy, and I'm not sure what the precise triggers are, maybe it's mood.

I have friends who are worse, big names in the industry. One famous name, if there's a thread with a hundred raves for his book, and one criticism, he will fret and chew on that one post for the entire day, if not longer.

It's odd, can't quite figure it out even after all this time.

Okay, if you are playing, you know you can buy a variety of houses. It's fun, a nice base for storing crap.

Just in… Skyrim has turned Gail Simone into a 1950s husband… at least according to all the 1950s advertisements.

Except for the fact that my character is  girl, that is totally true (and worrisome!)

Weird Thing In Skyrim

Okay, if you are playing, you know you can buy a variety of houses. It's fun, a nice base for storing crap.

I bought the first, cheapest house available. And I was fine with it, happy, in fact.

You might also know that you can get married. Which I totally did. And the second I proposed in the game, it started really bothering me that my house wan't good enough for my new wife.

So I went and did all the quests to get a bettter one. My wife in the game is an NPC„ says the sme four or so phrases over and over, and clearly, doesn't care which house I have.

That is a very complicated emotion for a video game to bring up, holy crap!

We have a rescued racer. I have never seen a dog with such a joy for life. They often have crappy lives until adoption, so when you give the a home and love, they never, ever stop being joyful about it.

If I give 'Scuro a bowl of food, it is always THE BEST BOWL OF FOOD EVER. you give him a Milk-Bone and he can't believe it. You give him a bed and every nap he takes is heaven to him.

Amazing dogs, so full of life and love, it's ridiculous. No other breed like them.
