What character would you have loved more than anything to be on Red Hood's "team", but were unable to use...
Things I am grateful did NOT happen… Scott Lobdell writing Misfit as part of the Red Hood and the Outlaws team.
I was always peeved he didn’t get to use Crimson Avenger like he wanted because hello, badass black heroine!
Then the actual book came out….
I heard about this after the fact. I would love for Misfit to appear in the new 52, but I thought he was thinking of Titans, not RHATO.
The weird thing is, my understanding of why editors nixed it is because of the bat logo on her shirt, they thought it would confuse people.
Only, it’s not a bat, it’s an “M,” for Misfit.

Am I the only one who’s completely fine with her being Hispanic but a little turned off by the fact that she isn’t wearing a blonde wig or something? Gawd I’m weird.

She makes a GREAT Dinah!
And Dinah’s hair is this color…the blonde is always either a wig or a dye job.

…I still routinely see that some people, of all genders, don’t pay attention to a feminist or female positive message unless it comes from a man. That’s messed up.
And some people, of all genders, don’t pay attention to transfeminist or trans woman positive messages at all.
I leave everyone present to draw their own conclusions.
Not sure if that’s aimed at me, but I am in fact working on this as we speak.
