Winter’s Sweet Kiss Anthology Available now through Roane Publishing

One In A Million Snowflakes

By Michelle Ziegler BlurbAngela is in love with someone she can’t have. Stranded in the bitter cold after another failed date, Angela is running out of time.  Her company Christmas party is around the corner, and the idea of going with her boss’ nephew is less then appealing. Escaping the cold , Angela jumps into her familiar getaway car to find Nick, her life-long crush, in the driver’s seat.  Strategic planning on his part has them finally giving into years of denied feelings.  Unfortunately, reality always surfaces.  Angela pushes Nick away in fear of losing his sister, her best friend. Breaking Nick’s heart was never part of her plan, and thankfully Nick isn’t going to let her.  His headstrong nature comes out and changes the game despite Angela’s attempts to stay away from him. Angela needs to decide if her best friend is more important than Nick, or if she should just give up and resign herself to a life with someone else  Buy Links:    Roane Publishing    Amazon (Print)    Amazon (Kindle Copy)
Barnes and Noble    Createspace (Print Only)  Excerpt Angela broke off as she heard a chuckle. A male chuckle. Had she gotten in the wrong car? She released the seatbelt she’d finally managed to grasp, which hit the car door with a loud thwack, and shot a glance at the driver’s seat.
Nick. Suddenly, she wasn’t cold anymore.  “Oh my God! When did you get back?” She flung her arms around his neck. Rebecca’s older brother was a Marine who had been on deployment. “I can’t believe you’re here! Becks didn’t tell me. You didn’t even send an email.” Angela was a little hurt.   “You’re choking me.”“Oh. Sorry. I’m excited to see you.” Angela let go, happy but embarrassed. She’d spent years squelching her feelings for Nick. She was obviously out of practice.     About Michelle Ziegler Michelle’s imagination started spilling out onto paper the second she could scribble.  Her drawing never improved, but her love affair with words continued and evolved as she became infatuated with one story after another.  If life could be written, Michelle would write everyone’s ending as a happily ever after. Michelle grew up in Chicago and later moved to Colorado. Her husband still makes fun of her Midwest accent. By day she is an engineer, wife, and mother to two kids and two dogs. Her sanity survives on the pages she writes, even if her toddler is trying to drive her to the edge one temper tantrum at a time.Website: http://www.michellezieglerauthor.com

Melting the ice around her husband’s heart before the snow outside does might take more pride than Naina’s ready to surrender.
ONE IN A MILLION SNOWFLAKES  By Michelle Ziegler
Blurb: Angela is in love with someone she can never have--her best friend, Rebecca’s older brother.
Stranded in the bitter cold after a disastrous blind date with yet another company Christmas party looming, a standing offer from the boss’ nephew gets a little more appealing. Desperation. Not a good sign. Surely when Rebecca rescues her from the blinding snow, she can also convince Angela to just go to the party alone. She can always count on her best friend.

That is, as long as she never finds out about Angela’s secret crush.

AN UNEXPECTED WREATH  By Annabelle Blume Blurb:  Stella's got everything she needs in life:  a great job, a beautiful house, and her independence.  But on last minute trip to the local Christmas tree lot, she finds something, or rather someone, she desperately wants - Grayson.    An emergency trip to Target, an unexpected wreath, and a little Christmas magic make the season much brighter.
SANTA BEBE  By Lily Carlyle
Blurb:  Disillusioned by men and her belief that they see her only as an object, Bebe is determined to find a man with money.  Her geeky, but unfailingly kind, next-door neighbor James tries to convince her of the possibility of real love, even as she reveals to him the troubled childhood that made her so cynical about relationships.  When her mother dasher her hopes for a perfect Christmas, Bebe finds herself turning to James once again, and in the process, learning a lot about herself and the promise their relationship holds.

Alexa Bourne with Liar, Liar @alexabourne

   Liar, Liar By Alexa Bourne

Blurb:
Unable to protect her mother from her father as a child, Devin McQueen has made it her mission as an adult to protect as many abused women and children as she can. The rare moments she’s not consumed with work as a victims’ advocate, she limits her involvements to safe, predictable men….until she meets bounty hunter Grady Cooper. He is big, bold, brash, and has no problem speaking his mind.
Growing up in a broken home, Grady realized early on that good deeds had a price.  To survive, he learned to weigh every decision by what he could gain. Unfortunately, the successful, solitary life he’s worked so hard to create spins out of control when demons from his past shake his confidence. His boss has given him one last chance—bring in Devin’s latest client quickly, and quietly and maybe he’ll still have a job. It didn’t sound unreasonable until he met Devin.
Suddenly, Grady must make a decision: save his career or follow his heart?
 Buy Links:  Amazon    Decadent Publishing

Excerpt:
If Grady Cooper had any hope of salvaging his professional reputation, he needed to charm Devin McQueen into giving him what she’d never given any other man.
He tucked his keys into his cargo shorts, stared up at the five-story office building and cursed the humidity.
And his dilemma.
Needing anyone was bad enough. Being forced to rely on a complete stranger to help prove he wasn’t a menace to society was as appealing as the Red Sox using his head for batting practice. If she refused to help him, he’d lose his job for sure.
“That’s not going to happen,” he whispered. He’d do whatever he had to, promise her the world even, to get himself out of this mess and restore his reputation. By the time she realized he had no intention of honoring his pledge, he’d be a free man and he could get back to chasing the bad guys instead of being labeled one.
Whatever it took.
He pushed the glass door open and flew up the stairs two at a time to the third floor. As he walked down the hallway, he glanced at the business names on the doors: law offices, non-profit offices, save the bleeding heart offices. Rooms of people he’d probably chased a bail jumper for at one time or another.
Loud thumps filtered into the hallway from somewhere up ahead.
The hairs on the back of his neck stood up. Trade rule number one: Always expect the worst. Still, the noises could have been any number of things: a fallen chair, a muffled voicemail message, boxes of printer paper being dropped. It could have been nothing connected to this woman.
As he got closer to the door with Soul Survivors carved on it, the name of McQueen’s business, the noises got louder. Glass shattered. A series of thumps passed from behind the door. A woman’s voice flew through the walls like a high-pitched war cry.
What if someone wanted Devin McQueen even more than Grady did?
Too bad. He had to put his own needs first.
Adrenaline pushed him. He turned the doorknob.
Damn it. Locked.
He shoved his shoulder against the wooden door. It budged. Barely. Inside, more glass broke. A male voice growled through a string of swear words.
Whoever stood on the other side of this door could not have her.
Grady gritted his teeth and jammed his shoulder against the door again. This time, it flew open and hurled him into the office.
Silence reigned across the room. With his shoulder throbbing, he scanned the scene. One upended chair, one thug cradling his nuts, the other, older one, bleeding from his nose and one wild-eyed woman in the center of it all. The bleeding man had his arms wrapped around the woman’s chest, crushing her…assets under his forearms.
Grady bit back a grin. If this was Devin McQueen, then some of the rumors were true. She could hold her own. But now she didn’t need to. “What’s the matter, guys? Couldn’t find anyone your own size to pick on?”

Blitz: Summertime Dream by Babette James

Summertime Dream
Babette James

Blurb:  The Fourth of July is over, but for these summer lovers the fireworks have just begun.
An unexpected inheritance brings business consultant Christopher Gordon from Los Angeles to quaint Falk’s Bend. He’s carved a week from his demanding schedule to list his great-grandparents’ house for sale and explore his roots. However, disturbing family secrets and the sweet temptation of writer Margie Olsson derail his plans, challenging him to seize the elusive dream missing from his hectic life— love.

A recent brush with death shook Margie’s life, but not her dreams and she’s ready to move forward. Only, standing up to her loving, over-protective family isn’t easy. Helping Christopher explore the derelict mansion and unravel his grandmother’s mysterious past should be a harmless fun taste of independence. But when her experimental summer fling ignites into unexpected love, how can her small town dreams work with his big city life?

Excerpt:
Beautiful, isn’t it? I fell so in love with this place when I was little and dreamed I’d live in a house like this someday.” Margie laughed. “Of course, in my dreams it was a bit less rundown.”

“I’d imagine so. Interested in buying?”

“Oh, if only I could, I would in an instant. I’m sure the property alone is worth far more than I can afford.  It’s a huge piece of land. And the repairs and restoration...” Longing swelled. She sighed. Someone else would buy and live in her dream home.

Quiet fell between them for a while. Bees buzzed in the clover. Birds sang, chirped, and flitted. A hummingbird whizzed past. Two more ducks joined the first amid quiet bickering quacks. Dandelion fluff drifted by on an unfelt breeze.

A truck rattled down the lane, breaking the moment.

“Suppose we ought to head back...” Christopher turned, so close their arms brushed, but instead of retreating, he hesitated. Their eyes locked. Where dismay and frustration had filled his green eyes, want simmered. The heavy air electrified.

You need a change.

On a surge of bewildering crazy courage, she stretched up and kissed him. The brief brush of lips to lips left her shaken and her heart pounding, like she had  just come up for air.
His eyes widened in his serious, craggy face.

No, oh, no. Blowing out an unsteady breath, she pressed a hand to her stomach. She’d carried her day’s adventure one impetuous step too far. Her heroines were the daring part of her. She’d never even kissed on a first date before, and this wasn’t even a date.

Before the apology fluttering in her mind could break free, he cupped her cheek and touched his mouth down on hers.

HAPPY BOOK BIRTHDAY HARLIE and THE COUPLE !!!!!

THE COUPLE
celebrates 1 year today!
Happy happy birthday !!   Now, please welcome Harlie with a guest post !!    Music to listen to when writing…is it that necessary? I’m one of those writers that have to write in complete silence.  It confuses me.  I get into the song and then I have to sing it and dance around.  I have no playlist that is my go-to when writing.  No smexy music to get me in the mood when it comes to writing the sex scenes.  In fact, when I was writing my sex scenes for The Couple, I had SpongeBob Squarepants on in the background, courtesy of my son.  I hate SpongeBob to this day.  LOL! So why the post about music?  When I need to clear my head, I listen to 80’s hair bands.  If you saw my CD collection, you would think that I was a rock club or stripper bar DJ from way back when.  I had friends that were in bands when I was in my 20’s and some of them even made it from the regional clubs.  During my wild 20’s, I met Zak Wylde from Ozzy’s band, Dangerous Toys (a regional band from Austin, TX), Gary Cherone from Extreme, Peter Frampton and hung out with the guys from Pantera at a club called The Basement whenever they were in town.  Yes, I will write about my times then but NOT until my parents and in-laws have passed.  My younger brother and I have a pact.  J After a really bad day, I turned on the Sirius radio and tuned up the Hair Bands channel.  Lita Ford’s sexy song “Hungry” came on and I started to sing.  After I listened to it, I downloaded the video to my YouTube channel and then read the lyrics.  All of a sudden the light bulb came on and this song was the prefect song for my story.  Lita Ford “Hungry” http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A148rQbZ0uk&feature=BFa&list=FL4GHHlBqWYor5GZMEaZdbIQ Now, I know that there are some people that don’t like rock music and trust me, what I listened to ‘back in the day’ wouldn’t fly now.  I miss the days when songs were about partying, sex, drinking and generally have a great time.  I HATE Nirvana for killing music.  *sigh* I digress.  What makes this song so perfect is that it’s honest, raw and sexy.  Plus, come on…its Lita Ford.  J  When I started going through the hardcore critique of my story a couple of more songs popped in my head and wouldn’t leave.  For some reason, Rick Springfield’s song “Souls” kept ringing in my ears.  I know, Rick Springfield.  Hey, I still like him, so sue me.  Again, did the same thing with “Souls”, downloaded the video (horrible) but then read the lyrics and BAM…another song for my story. Rick Springfield “Souls” http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MhT97glh3zE&feature=BFa&list=FL4GHHlBqWYor5GZMEaZdbIQ Of course, this song was cleaned up for our virgin…cough, cough…ears then.  Listen now and it’s sexy as hell.  I will leave you with one more song that I sing every day.  It makes me happy and face it…it’s great rock and roll.  Crue dude! And keep rocking with Dokken… Dokken “You Just Got Lucky” http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ECr98ZOnsig&feature=BFa&list=FL4GHHlBqWYor5GZMEaZdbIQ Motley Crue “Same Ol’ Situation” http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BXG0q0qesRw&feature=BFa&list=FL4GHHlBqWYor5GZMEaZdbIQ   Blurb:
A woman has one thing on her mind tonight…sex. Dirty, sweaty, kinky sex with a cowboy. With her man gone more than he is at home, she needs the release. After being away for two weeks, a cowboy goes looking for someone to play with for the night. Being away is part of the job but not having someone to come home to is hurting his soul. Feeling disconnected in his love life, the red head will be perfect.Once they meet, can one night of pure passion led to more than just a one night stand for either of them?   Communication is the key to every relationship. Can these two find a way to connect emotionally or are they destined for heartache.    Buy Links:   Muse It Up Publishing     Amazon     Barnes & Noble  All Romance ebooks    Bookstrand         Excerpt (PG-13 for language) “What’s a girl like you doing at a bar like this?” he asked. Her voice was a purr, like a cat well satisfied with its stolen pitcher of cream. “I’m looking for someone special.” Hoping that she meant him he asked, “Did you find him yet?” “Maybe.” The glint in her eye told him he was definitely in the running.  However, I’m not looking to hook up with just any old cowboy.  He must be able to go the full eight seconds and come back for more.”  She eyed him from head to toe.  “Think you can handle that?” Oh, I can most definitely handle you sweetheart. Not wanting to seem too eager he replied, “I’m not sure but I’m willing to try.” “Do or do not.  There is no try.”  He struggled not to let his grin escape.  The fact that she was trying to seduce him made his dick twitch. “Let’s just say I’m looking to burn off some pent up frustration. A little excess energy.  And I’ve got plenty to burn.” The way she shivered at his words, he knew he almost had her.  He winked as she licked her crimson lips and blew out a small breath.  Damn what this woman is doing to him.  He pushed her knees apart with his left leg and was rewarded with the amazing scent of her arousal.  The knowledge she was wet for him had him close to going off in his jeans.  Houston, we have lift-off! “Why don’t you have a seat cowboy and we’ll talk about it.” She gasped when he shocked her with a brush of his lips against hers; fighting with everything he had not to deepen the kiss.  Patience, patience. He would play her game for the moment but sooner or later, she would be his.  Tied up and begging for more.  He asked her, “Now about that eight second ride?”     Author Bio: When she is not trying to be Super Blogger and reviewing for her own site, Harlie is a stay at home with a 3rd grade son that keeps her busy with all of his stuff.  Married for 9 years to her own hero and still madly in love with him, she wouldn’t change a thing about her life.  Okay, maybe living in Ireland or New Zealand but those are just pipe dreams.   A certifiable sports nut, she craves college football (OU Sooners and Texas A&M Aggies), Baseball (Texas Rangers and Houston Astros), Dallas Stars hockey and Houston Texans football.  After working for the Dallas Stars Hockey Club for 5 years and naming her son after Brian Leetch you’d think she'd write a hockey story.  Nope, been there, done that and the t-shirt is a rag.  She prefers just to watch the game now.  Less stress. Harlie loves to hear from readers and other authors.  You can find her on Facebook most days.  Unless, she’s sitting in the carpool line.  The bane of her existence.   Author links: Author site:  www.harliewilliams.comTwitterhttps://twitter.com/marika67Facebook Page:  http://www.facebook.com/pages/Harlie-Williams-Writer/224885394212458Pinterest:  http://pinterest.com/marikaweber25Goodreads:  http://www.goodreads.com/BriansMomLinkedin:  http://www.linkedin.com/pub/marika-weber/36/a20/a63    Giveaway:  In honor of her book's 1st birthday, Harlie is giving away an ebook and some swag!    a Rafflecopter giveaway

Author, author... All That's Unspoken by Constance Phillips + giveaway

...read all about it !!

Welcome to A Passion for Romance !   Would you share a little bit about yourself with us today?
I live in Northwest Ohio with my husband, daughter and our four dogs. My son moved out earlier this year and is planning a wedding for next summer, so I’m half-way to an empty nest.
I love to read paranormal and contemporary romance and have been writing for several years.

Do you have a favorite scene you would like to share with us?
One of my favorite scenes in All That’s Unspoken is the excerpt I’ve included with the answers to these questions.
It’s the first time Hailey and Nate have spoken to each other in eight years, since she left town without as much as a goodbye.  She’s full or regret and he’s still resentful, but underneath it all you can tell each is important to the other.
Where did you come up with the idea for your current release?
I wanted to write a story set around Christmas and the New Year. To me, New Year’s Eve is sort of like a reset button. We make resolutions. We say good bye to “bad years” or celebrate the “good ones” and look forward to what the next one has in store.
So, to me, the idea of a heroine who wanted a second chance seemed intriguing.
What are you currently working on?
I have a few things on my plate, including another paranormal and a follow up to All That’s Unspoken.
Do you have any special routine that you follow when you are writing?
My most productive time to write is in the morning, after everyone else leaves for the day. The house is quiet and my mind is fresh. Does coffee count as a routine?
Did you have to do a lot of research for this book or any other? If so do you have a fascinating fact that you have learned you would like to share with us?
I did do a little research on stuttering and stammering (For Nate’s daughter) for this book, but the book that I’ve had to do the most research for is Resurrecting Harry.
The book is about Harry Houdini’s spirit coming back to this world after death – with a new, younger face and body – to make sure Bess is on the right path to healing.
While it’s not really about Harry Houdini, Erich has all of Houdini’s memories, so I read a couple of biographies about his life before I began writing that one.

Who are some of your favorite authors that you like to read?
I love Sherrilyn Kenyon and JR Ward for paranormal.

Is there any genre you haven't written that you would like to try?
I’d love to write a romantic suspense. The idea intimidates me, though. It’s a lot of work to make sure you have all the threads of the suspense plot in place.    Now let's hear about your new release !!

Excerpt:
Only when she heard the bell above the door ring out, was she able to unclench her fists and let out the breath that had tightened her chest. She’d seen Nate lingering around the edge of the counter with her plate of pancakes in hand but didn’t want him to approach her now.
She really didn’t have it in her to deal with him.
He came forward anyway, and set the plate in front of her. After a hesitation, he asked, “Can I sit for a minute?”
Her eyes fluttered closed, but she gestured to the chair. She heard it scrape against the old worn tile and could feel him just inches away from her.
“I’m sorry your dad’s health is on the decline. I’ve always really liked him. It stinks, you know.”
She took a deep breath; maybe they could talk as old friends and ignore the complications of the night they’d spent together. “I don’t think he’s that bad. Jake and Kelly are overreacting.”
He twisted his hands on his lap. “I can see how you would think that. Some days when I see him, he’s sharp as nails. Others….”
Her phone vibrated against the table. The habit to check the ID won out against the desire meet Nate’s stare. An eight-hundred number flashed, twisting Hailey’s stomach into knots. Another bill collector wanting to take the money she was trying to stretch just a little further, hoping to get through a few more weeks. She hit the button to ignore the call.
“I overheard what you said about your dad wanting the property to stay the same,” Nate said. “I’ll take real good care of the place and won’t change a thing. I love that farm the way it is.”
That brought her attention back. “What are you talking about?”
“I’ve been talking to Jake about renting the house.”
She took in his deep brown eyes and almost black hair. It was cropped short like he was trying to beat-the-heat, even if the average temperature this week was somewhere around ten degrees. Much shorter than he wore it in high school. The neatly trimmed beard and mustache were new too.
He looked older. More settled.
How ironic.
They’d both thought this small town would smother them back then.
For a fleeting moment it comforted her to picture Nate cooking in her family’s
kitchen, and then she realized it wouldn’t be her house anymore. She’d be on the outside looking in. “It feels like everything is being taken away from me.”

His body stiffened as he pulled back. “It’s not like I’m stealing it. I’m going to pay you for it.”
“This isn’t about money!”
“Then what is it about?”
She reached for her purse and fumbled for her wallet with trembling hands. “Everyone seems to think that just because I don’t live here, I don’t have a voice, but you’re all wrong.” She threw a twenty-dollar bill on the table. “I didn’t leave the planet, I moved to New York. I didn’t abandon my family, but it feels like they think so. I’m sick of being treated like an outside in my hometown, in my family home, in my own life.”
She stood and tried to turn, but he grabbed her wrist. Looking back would weaken her resolve—Nate had always had that effect on her—but she did it anyway.
“Please, it would mean a lot to Lori…and me.”
His daughter. The child he’d had with someone else. She couldn’t stand the thought of the two of them in her living room without her.
Why did it hurt so much?
It wasn’t as if he left her. She’d pursued and claimed the future she’d always wanted.
Hadn’t she?
If everything she’d attained had been all she ever wanted, why was it tearing her in two to know Nate had gone on with his life without her? It wasn’t as if she’d expected he wouldn’t. She should be happy he was settled. Instead, it made her long for that place next to him even more.
A lump formed in her throat, making speech impossible. Instead, she headed for the door.
“That’s right, Hailey. Run away. It’s what you do best!”
His words stopped her, and she twisted back. “I what?”
“Run. Away. When the pieces of your life don’t come together like a neat little puzzle, you scatter them all around you and stomp out of the room.”
She bristled at the venom in his voice. “That’s not what happened.”
“Oh, no. You handled it so well, just breezed out of town with no concern for those you left behind.”
They weren’t talking about her father or her house anymore. This was about how she’d reacted eight years ago, when the feelings got too real.
Just as they were now.
“I care, dammit!” She let out a long exhale. “I always have.”

Author, author.... Toying with Temptation by

...read all about it !!

Welcome, so great to have you here with us.  Can you tell us a little about yourself?
Thanks for having me – it’s a pleasure to be here at A Passion for Romance! I’m Madison Martin and I’ve been writing mostly fun, light contemporaries with a few other more serious stories in there for about 10 years. I live and work in the Washington, DC area.   Do real life events find their way into your stories?
Yes, sometimes a real event will spark something in my imagination and make its way into a story. Although I usually like to embellish those events a lot J
Do you ever mimic family members or people you know when you choose characters?
Not really! I have so many imaginary people floating around in my brain that I don’t think I’ve ever chosen a character based on anyone I know.
Do you find yourself going back to the same inspiration for each story or is it always something different?
My inspiration when I first begin a story is usually a character that intrigues me and that I’d like to explore and give a happy ending to, and I take it from there. I never know when or where that inspiration will come from, but it’s always welcome!

When do you write?  Early morning? During the day sometime or all day?  After the kids go to bed?
I’m without question a morning person. I’m the freshest and most inspired first thing, so I write before work each day. Then if the day escapes me and I don’t get any more writing time in, at least I’ve done something fulfilling for myself, even on days when I’m not very productive. I’m mostly brain dead at night.
How do you feel about marketing your book?
It can be a challenge, but it’s also fun and a great opportunity to meet and interact with new people!
What social sites do you feel work best for marketing?
I love Twitter because it’s always fresh and updated. I love learning about people from random Tweets J
Do you like to pitch stories to your publisher or do you wait until you have written the story and have a final manuscript to turn in?
I usually wait until I have the final manuscript completed. Although the idea of pitching the idea first and working out potential problems in the story is particularly appealing!
Is there any other genre that you would love to try writing?  If so, what is it?
I’d love to try writing a fantasy story with maybe some light paranormal elements…something that takes place in a totally fantastical world that I could lose myself in. I like being able to completely escape from reality!
Do you always/ever see yourself as the heroine/hero when you write a story?
I think I end up writing a little bit of myself into each character I write, but generally, I like to imagine someone much, much more fabulous than I am as my heroine!

Just for fun, I have a few personal questions,
Favorite 5
1)      Favorite Male Actor - Chris Hemsworth.
2)      Favorite vehicle – Chevy Camaro.
3)      Favorite way to relax – going for a long walk while listening to my favorite music on my mp3 player.
4)      Favorite ice cream – Ben and Jerry’s Chubby Hubby.
5)      Favorite outfit – Comfy jeans and a T-shirt.
And for a bonus:  If you could pick any place in the world to live, besides where you are now, where would it be?  (Of course, without the hindrance of jobs or money needed)  San Diego. It’s my favorite city in the world. Preferably I’d live right on the beach!

Robbie Terman began her journey as a writer in third grade, when she completed her first (24-page) "novel."  Many years later, she is published in contemporary romance.  Her heroines are feisty, her heroes Hot (yup, that's with a capital H!).  And, when you read her books, if you cry a little and laugh a lot, that's just the reaction she was hoping for.

When she's not writing, Robbie can usually be found doing one of three things: shopping for shoes and handbags at Nordstrom; trying a new restaurant (or attempting a new recipe); or relaxing on the couch and catching up on her favorite television programs (if you're wondering which ones, open up a TV Guide and take your pick.  You've probably guessed right!).  Website   Twitter   Facebook  Goodreads  Giveaway Info:Sinfully Sweet Gift Basket a Rafflecopter giveaway

Cover Reveal: Sweet Burn by Anne Marsh

  Sweet Burn
Smoke Jumpers Series #4
By: Anne Marsh

Blurb
It’s supposed to be a quick wedding hook-up. She’s lonely. He’s available. After seeing Rio Donovan and Gia Jackson down the aisle, the sizzling sexual chemistry between Mimi Hart and Mack Johnson has this pair burning up the sheets in a night of no-holds fantasies. One night. No regrets. And no promises.
As Strong’s resident bad girl and bartender, Mimi has earned every inch of her reputation. Tattoos, motorcycles and dancing on the bar—Mimi’s all in. She’s fun and she’s tough, a hot sex-on-the-pool-table woman—not a sunset-and-kisses sweetheart. Until her wedding hook-up, Mack Johnson, turns into a man on a sensual mission…and threatens to send her heart into freefall even as her own past threatens to catch up with her.
Mack didn’t choose Strong—Strong chose him. Fresh from the warzones of the Middle East and battling PTSD demons, this Spec Ops soldier is most at home on the battlefield. Still, when Jack Donovan calls in a favor, he heads to Strong, California for fire season. Guns. Firefights. And chutes. These things make sense. One summer and then he heads back to the frontlines where he belongs. He never counted on falling in love with Strong—or with Mimi. She’s exactly what the doctor ordered. Now he wants all of Mimi—the sweet and the sour, the tough and the loving. And he’s ready to convince her one night—and one fire—at a time…

Author Info

I live in Northern California with my husband, two kids and four cats. After ten years of graduate school and too many degrees, I escaped to become a technical writer. When not planted firmly in front of the laptop translating Engineer into English, I enjoy gardening, running (even if it’s just to the 7-11 for slurpees), and reading books curled up with my kids. The best part of writing romance, however, is finally being able to answer the question: “So… what do you do with a PhD in Slavic Languages and Literatures?” You can visit me online at www.anne-marsh.com.
