4 I'm Loving This Series Stars.

Some Like It Sinful is book 2 in the A Perfect Recipe Series. I really liked the first book Some Like It Spicy, but Robbie Terman has taken it to the next level with book 2.

Chloe Nelson has realised her lifelong dream and has just opened the Happy Ending Bakery, unfortunately a national bakery chain Goody Luv, is planning to open up a new shop opposite her own, which could essentially bankrupt her before she even gets the chance to fully open her doors.

Some Like It Sinful. Robbie Terman.

Review from Jeannie Zelos Book Reviews.
I'm a sucker for a romance, one that has something extra to lift it about the bland offerings that proliferate the book lists. I know many many people love those, I need something more though :) Anyway, Robbie delivers that here. This book made me laugh, and made me sad ( that's always needed for balance IMO.) I guessed part of the plot but that's fine, it was written well and didn't spoil my enjoyment. There are some gr

This was a hilarious 2nd book in the Perfect Recipe series. I received an ARC of this book and was pleasantly surprised. I wasn't expecting a 2nd book but I think I might like this one even better. I loved the authors sense of humor! The banter between the characters was so funny and was probably my fav part of the book. I liked that the female character gave as good as she got. Who doesn't like a smart ass heroine?

Griffin is a hockey player nearing the end of his career and not happy about it.

This was a delightful hot enjoyable read that I ate right up. Part of a series but can be read as a stand alone and first time reading of this author she does have the recipes right for winners. Chloe has almost finalized her dream of opening her own bakery but OH NO right across the street there is a sign of competition coming soon and a popular chain one no less. In a panic calls her sister who also happens to be a assistant district attorney to vent and possibly later acquire assistance. Then ...more
I received this book in exchange for an honest review.

This book was a great story that truly makes you want some sweet treats. Chloe being the pastry chef is a delight. She is not meek fragile woman, but a strong sticks up for herself woman. I loved her fire and feistiness. She goes toe to toe with Griffin. I loved their sarcastic bantering they had with each other. Their chemistry was explosive and it was great to see it play out over several months with them still doubting their relationship w
This is a deliciously sweet romance! Chloe is following her dream, opening a bakery; unfortunately, a chain bakery has decided to set up shop across the street. Griffin is a hot hockey player who's sadly getting up in age to play the game. At a formal party he makes a stupid decision which leads him to face either jail time or community service. The DA decides to throw him a bone, or cookie as the case may be, and sets him up to work his community hours with her sister (Chloe) which will have th ...more
Some Like It Sinful is the second novel in the Perfect Recipe series by Robbie Terman and is about a pastry chef whose dream of opening her own bakery is about to come true only to have a well-known bakery chain also about to open right across from her and a professional hockey player at the twilight of his career who gets himself into some legal trouble. These two are paired together in the strangest of circumstances but it becomes a beneficial one for both of them. After all, there's nothing w ...more

Some Like it Sinful is the second installment in “A Perfect Recipe” and it was an awesome read. What really made this read one of my favorites was the bantering between Chloe and Griffin. From the moment they meet it was like listening to an old married couple. Only that they both grew with their relationship, she needed to remember she couldn’t base her relationships with her parents and he needed to see that Chloe was meant for him.

Chloe Nelson has always dreamed of opening up her own business
I found this book as a casualty i am telling you it has been the best casualty in a long time! it has been some time since i read a book that makes me laugh that much (people on the metro must have thought i was crazy).

The story is so good written, the characters are very funny, i like the way Chloe respond to Griffin, their chemistry is off the charts, the nicknames! hilarious! jajaja, for me it was a refreshing story that speaks about forgetting those high expectations that we women put someti
The book had my emotions all over the place. Chloe and Griffin's characters had me doubled over with laughter as much as they had me frustrated with their personal issues. In a sense it was what a modern day fairy tale with a sexy..frustrating hockey player and a pastry chef. Believe me this book is entertaining and way better than I described. This is another author to put on my fun to read list.
The 4 stars are purely for Griffin, who unexpectedly turned out to be one of the sweetest heroes ever. It was so refreshing to read a hero so breathtakingly unapologetic-alpha-bad-boy and yet so adorably in touch with all his feelings for (or rather frustration about) the heroine. He was just so straightforward regardless of whether he was the arrogant money-and-fame-will-get-me-out-of-anything jerkwad he was at the start, or whether he was the sincere, hard-working sweetheart he revealed himsel ...more

Chloe's sweet, sassy, and clueless when it comes to hockey. Griffin's sexy, sarcastic, and unable to accept that someone--a woman, no less--has no idea who he is or what hockey is about.

Two people from two very different worlds are thrown together. Personalities clash. Perspectives differ. Being forced to work together benefits them both. They might be stubborn but they're not stupid. Griffin knows the community service he serves in Ch

Robbie Terman bakes up another page-turning contemporary romance in Some Like it Sinful, the second book in the A Perfect Recipe series.

Griffin Lange, captain of the Chicago Brawlers hockey team, pulls off a dangerous and stupid stunt that lands him in trouble with the law. Not wanting to end up in jail, Griffin accepts a community service deal to work at Happy Ending Bakery, where he meets Chloe Nelson. When Sylvia, Chloe’s sister explains who Griffin is, Chloe determines that she needs his sta

This was quite a “yummy” read. While I was reading, I sure was craving something gooey and chocolate! This story revolved around Chloe, the pastry chef from Book 1,“Some Like it Spicy”. As with the first book, this is another light, sexy read with the backdrop of cooking. The hero is Griffin Lange, a famous but aging Hockey Player. I have to admit, I was “Sweet” on Griffin.
I did question the circumstances that brought Chloe and Griffin together, as it was not as realistic compared to how Ashton

Chloe was one of those girls who doesn't try to fit in with the guys. A baking whiz, clueless to anything sports-related, and waiting patiently for her prince charming, she never felt the need to change who she was or lower her dress size to be with a man. So when Griffin Lange, the hot throb hockey player who was more often than not seen with a waif of a model on his arm, came to rain on her parade, she was less than thrilled. Thanks to his careless mistake, Griffin was forc
In Some Like it Sinful (A Perfect Recipe #2) by Robbie Terman, Chloe Nelson's dream of owning her own pastry shop is finally coming true. Sure there have been some problems along the way, but she's holding her own--until some competition enters the neighborhood in time for her grand opening. Chloe's ever helpful older sister comes to her rescue by bringing hockey player Griffin Lange to the shop to help out as part of a "community service" bargain.

Although the “fake relationship” storyline has been done before. Robbie Terman gave it a very unique and interesting twist.
Chloe Nelson is finally able to make her dreams come true and open up her own bakery-Happy Endings. She is very happy about the results and very confident that it will be successful because she is a talented baker. Her one little problem is that competition opens up right across the

Some LIke It Sinful is the second book in Robbie Terman’s new series about Chicago chefs but as a new reader, I had no problem with it as a stand-alone. It tells the story of how a pastry chef struggling to start her own business unexpectedly acquires a famous fake boyfriend when the local hockey star agrees to work at her bakery after a failed prank at the team owner’s charity auction.

I found this book's premise highly improbable, but it was the laughably thin sabotage plot that really had me rolling my eyes here. This was like "Kimmy Gibbler on Full House"-level intrigue, and I was embarrassed at how long it took for these otherwise functional adults to catch on. Griffin gets slammed into baseboards and knocked around for a living, so I don't mind that he wasn't putting two and two together and coming up with four, but what was Chloe's excuse for not figuring out what was ha ...more

After falling madly in love with Some Like it Spicy, I was super excited to read Some Like it Sinful. While it didn't have that same wow factor, I still really enjoyed this delicious romance, where the curvy girl gets her man! We met Chloe in the first book as Ashton's friend and business partner, but now she's opening up her own bakery. It's her life's dream, but it doesn't go quite to plan thanks to a run in with hockey superstar, Griffin Lange. One reckless

Chloe Nelson is the owner of a brand new confectioners named Happy Endings Bakery. Her lifelong dream was to own her own shop so she sold her share of Sweet Home. Five days from her grand opening, a chain bakery scoops up a building for rent across the street.

This is the first book that I have read by Ms. Terman, and I thoroughly enjoyed it right from the beginning. I will definitely be getting the first book in this series so I can find out how the first couple met. The exchanges that took place between the main characters were great, and many parts that had me laughing out loud. If you like steamy romances that are wrapped around sports, then you will enjoy this story.

Chloe Nelson is finally making her dream of owning her own bakery come true, but
Griffin is the captain of a hockey team and was showing off, wrecked a car amongst other things. He tried to get out of having jail time but there was no hope unless he agreed to 300 hours community serve. What he did know was it was at a bakery until it was to late and couldn't do nothing about it. Chloe's sister had a guy come in for community serve and he was totally hot until he started talking. Chloe had no idea who he was, let alone hockey and Griffin couldn't believe she didn't know him. ...more

The second book in the Perfect Recipe series is an intriguing, entertaining and a delicious must read.

Bakery owner Chloe Nelson and professional hockey player Griffen Lange get along like chocolate and pickles but they have been thrown together by a struggling business and an act of vandalism. A fake relationship seems like a perfect plan to keep the media interested and save their respective careers.

The author brings this very enjoyable read to life with vivid details and a steady paced smooth

The second book in the series was just as enjoyable as the first. Ms Terman really knows her way around a story. The only downer for me was the sports angle, hockey isn't really my thing.

Chloe is a really great character and I love her snarky attitude. Griffen is a really interesting guy, he starts out kinda jerky but really grows through the book. I really liked this one from the very beginning. Griffin was struggling with being an older player in the NHL, and a captain who hasn't been able to bring home the Cup in quite a few years. (Though of course, being from the city that's NEVER brought it home--except for the guy who plays for a different team--it was hard to be too sympathetic!) He had a

Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for allowing me to review an ARC of this book.

You know, I'm not sure I expected much from "Some Like it Sinful" - it looks a lot like the stereotypical romance, what I call a wham-bam-thank-you-ma'am book (seriously, I have a GR shelf dedicated to books just like that.) Nothing too serious, it's light and fluffy, something you'll read quickly and enjoy while you're at it, but it doesn't stick with you forever and ever, amen. And in many ways, th

Robbie Terman began her journey as a writer in third grade, when she completed her first (24-page) "novel." Many years later, she is published in contemporary romance.
