They called me God
Funny and full of wild twists and turns, They Called Me God is a satirical comedy-adventure novel with a poignant message about faith. The narrative is light-hearted and never takes itself too seriously. Author Ronald Simonar builds on an interesting premise and delivers an amusing story that will entertain readers of graphic novels and comic books alike. It's not exactly Parental guidance-13, but it takes you on a fun rollercoaster ride nonetheless. My favorite character was, of course, the protagonist, God. God in this book is not only all-powerful but also displays an innate sense of humor that readers will love. I particularly enjoyed God's witty banter with Amanda. This book is not for everyone. But if you enjoy adventure tales laced with dark humor, this will be right up your alley.

They called me God
They Called Me God investigates faith, power, science, and the nature of divinity. It combines comedic elements, sensual moments, and accounts from both the present and history to portray God living among ordinary people. Ronald Simonar's narrative is intriguing, delving into topics such as alien technology and gene manipulation, depicting God's weary yet determined quest to guide his flawed creation. The man named God faces challenges from priests, soldiers, and human imperfection, ultimately questioning the nature of divine authority and human progress. The vivid imagery, complex characters, and layered storytelling encourage readers to reflect on spirituality, morality, and the evolution of consciousness. The highlight of this book is its realistic artwork, which beautifully captures the characters. However, it includes nude images and violent depictions that may surprise some readers. Despite this, it is an engaging read that provokes thoughtful consideration of societal challenges and human advancement.

They called me God
I wasn’t aware They Called Me God was a graphic novel until after I’d selected it. I had never read one until now, and I am so glad I did. I didn’t realize what I was missing out on. Author Ronald Simonar has compiled an excellent story with a fascinating premise to explain the existence of a supernatural being called God throughout human history. That in itself would be a teasing plot for a novel, but what makes it exceptional is the addition of the pictures to accompany the text. As an avid reader, I found the images of exceptional quality, giving the story the perfect lift and accompaniment. I particularly appreciated the explanation for the development of so many different religions and dogmas, as different cultures in different times reacted to interaction with him. I chuckled at the idea that we are now worshipping the religion of science and that the Hadron Collider is humanity’s altar of worship to its God. The story is fun, the action is plentiful, and the visual aspects of the story are beautiful. This certainly will not be the last graphic novel I read. I love it when I stumble across a new way to enjoy my passion for literature. Perhaps I should consider trying audiobooks next. This was a fun and thoughtful read that I thoroughly enjoyed and highly recommend.

They called me God
"They Called Me God" is a book that I went into having no idea what it would be and walked away with a massive smile on my face.
The classic comic book style is a brilliant format. The artwork is bold, and the way Simonar creates an entire arc and storyline in this media style is a testament to his immense skill as a writer and, more importantly, a true creative. There is intelligent wit and satire, but there is also a real, fundamental basis of influence and survival, and the collision of old knowledge, new customs, and tolerance for both. God is, as one would expect, subject to exploitation, even indirectly. The highlight for me is the invocation of Emma Stone. Overall, this is an original and thoughtful work of art that absolutely promises readers a distinctive reading and visual experience, and I would give it a whole bucket of stars if I could. Very highly recommended.

Posttraumatic by Ronald Simonar is one of the most gripping stories I have ever read. This is one story that deserves every ounce of your attention, with its tense, thrilling plot and the many twists and turns the story takes you on. A real page-turner, this is an edge-of-your-seat thriller, a unique story that will take you on a journey you will never forget. Well-paced, it has plenty of drama, action, and suspense and the main character is one you will connect with on all levels, a strong female lead with a “mama bear” attitude. Crooked officials, the Russian Mafia, and one woman determined to beat them all to get her daughter back is a tale that could very well have the makings of a hit movie.

Posttraumatic 5-star
Posttraumatic is a work of fiction in the thriller, suspense, and murder mystery subgenres. It is intended for the general adult reading audience and was penned by author Ronald Simonar. This multi-layered and multi-genre story takes us through several fascinating and mind-bending incidents in the life of protagonist Dr. Caroline Glyn, a woman who thinks her only fight at the start of the novel is against the beast we call cancer. But when she meets a young Russian girl who is the spitting image of her own young daughter, Caroline’s world descends into supernatural madness, murder, and political intrigue that it will take all her fortitude to weather and overcome.
I love stories that are hard to pin down to just one genre, and author Ronald Simonar has crafted one of those tales that you can hardly describe to friends, other than to say that they simply must read it. There was so much going for such a concise and fast-paced novel, with plenty of interesting twists and new layers from the different genre styles mashing together wonderfully. Another feature of the novel that I truly enjoyed on a deeper level was the characterization of Caroline and her experience of posttraumatic stress, which was heartfelt and intricately portrayed with a keen sense of the realities of this debilitating emotional state. Overall, Posttraumatic is an ideal read for thriller fans seeking an action-packed story with plenty of fascinating mystery, tense thrills, and an authentic emotional core that will certainly steal your heart, as it did mine.

The cinematic quality of the story is off the charts!
Posttraumatic byRonald Simonar is a suspenseful thriller novel with an intense plot and adecisive protagonist. The story follows Dr. Caroline Glyn, a medical professorwho lost her husband to a brain tumor. Since then, she has been obsessed withfinding cancer-causing cells. Being a widow and a mother of a 5-year-olddaughter named Mary drives her to work harder to achieve her goal. However, things change when her daughter befriends a girl named Krupskaya. While thefriendship was innocent, Caroline had no idea that this friendship was all planned. Before she can get hold of her bearings, there is a murder, an unexplainedincident, and Mary is kidnapped. Caroline has already lost her husband Robertand she is unwilling to lose her daughter too. What will Caroline do to saveher daughter from forces that are far more powerful than her?
Traditionally written with a very unique approach, Posttraumatic is a pleasureto read and reread until you become one with the pages. The idea of the storyis fantastic and its execution even better. Caroline is the kind of protagonistthat you feel an emotional connection with and root for until the end. AuthorRonald Simonar paces the story just right and slowly but surely introduces theconflict into the story before smacking readers with intense suspense and dramato make them sweat. I was completely absorbed in the story, looking for clues, and hoping for answers that would unfold the mystery even a little bit. Theaddition of the Russian mafia and crooked cop felt as much a part of the storyas the FBI agents did. I loved the dialogues, the intensity of the plot, andthe action. I will not be surprised if the story becomes a movie or a TV seriesin the future because Caroline is the type of protagonist that people willlove. The cinematic quality of the story is off the charts. I loved it!
