Posttraumatic’s 5-star review by Rabia Tanveer for Readers’ Favorite.

The cinematic quality of the story is off the charts!

Posttraumatic byRonald Simonar is a suspenseful thriller novel with an intense plot and adecisive protagonist. The story follows Dr. Caroline Glyn, a medical professorwho lost her husband to a brain tumor. Since then, she has been obsessed withfinding cancer-causing cells. Being a widow and a mother of a 5-year-olddaughter named Mary drives her to work harder to achieve her goal. However, things change when her daughter befriends a girl named Krupskaya. While thefriendship was innocent, Caroline had no idea that this friendship was all planned. Before she can get hold of her bearings, there is a murder, an unexplainedincident, and Mary is kidnapped. Caroline has already lost her husband Robertand she is unwilling to lose her daughter too. What will Caroline do to saveher daughter from forces that are far more powerful than her?

Traditionally written with a very unique approach, Posttraumatic is a pleasureto read and reread until you become one with the pages. The idea of the storyis fantastic and its execution even better. Caroline is the kind of protagonistthat you feel an emotional connection with and root for until the end. AuthorRonald Simonar paces the story just right and slowly but surely introduces theconflict into the story before smacking readers with intense suspense and dramato make them sweat. I was completely absorbed in the story, looking for clues, and hoping for answers that would unfold the mystery even a little bit. Theaddition of the Russian mafia and crooked cop felt as much a part of the storyas the FBI agents did. I loved the dialogues, the intensity of the plot, andthe action. I will not be surprised if the story becomes a movie or a TV seriesin the future because Caroline is the type of protagonist that people willlove. The cinematic quality of the story is off the charts. I loved it!
