My Review: 5 Stars
Eochaid’s Obsession is the first book in the Winter’s Advent series. The series gives readers the backstory as to why Brijit is the women we met in The Shelter From the Winter series. I, for one, loved finding out what makes Brijit tick.
From the first time Eochaid and Brijit meet, Eochaid will make your skin crawl. The author does a great job of eliciting emotions from the reader. From the hate you’ll feel toward Eochaid, to the love you feel watching Brijit and daughter interact, each chapter will pull you in. Whether it is the villain you love to hate or the passion between two lovers, DW Adler takes the reader on an emotional roller coaster.
The Winter’s Advent Series is an original vampire series. The plot grabs you from the first page and the characters are richly written. Unlike with some series, readers are treated to seeing their favorite characters again and again in each book. And that is a MAJOR brownie point. There is nothing I hate worse that having a character I love only appear once or twice in a series.
If you want a paranormal series you can sink your teeth into, click on the picture of the beautiful cover next to this review and give Eochaid's Obsession a try. You won’t be disappointed.

My Review: I give A Cat's Tale by Melissa Snark 5 stars 
Melissa is a fabulous author. Her stories are always exciting as well as action packed and A Cat’s Tale is no different. This story is the first in the series and I can’t wait to read more.

The story is well plotted. I loved the dynamic between the hero and heroine. I couldn’t put this story down. If you are looking for the next great paranormal to read you, can’t go wrong with this sexy short story.

Krissy is a mother to two young children, who in turn keep her young. She live's in Dublin, Ireland but, isn't originally from South Devon in the UK. Krissy work's full time in a pharmacy and write in her spare time, whenever the urge takes me. 
She has always been interested in reading from a young age, 2 years ago she was given a kindle as a present and it was the best thing that happened to her. She was able to read lots of books ever week and then she started to write reviews for all the books she read. 
She then took it one step further and started her own Facebook page – Sparkling Pink Bookshelf, she intended to upload all of my reviews for the books she has read. This was purely for pleasure at that stage. She answered a post on Facebook for someone to read for reviews and thought she had died and gone to heaven. She was reading about 7/8 books a week, the kindle made this achievable. She would read at any opportunity she was able to, even staying up til the small hours to finish a book. She loved it. Then one day she was asked to beta read a book – she love's this side of it, it was so exciting. She has worked with a number of indie authors and has remained loyal to a few select authors and she beta read all their books.  
After a year or more of doing this, She thought maybe she could write some of the stories that were in her head and she just decided to write and see what happened. she wrote about 70% of a story and then saw a post for the NaNoWriMo competition – to write 50,000 words in 30 days, She decided that this was a challenge she wanted to take and the Til Death Us Do Part series was born.     She is always thinking of situations that be turned into a story and have started a few stories, which in turn will be completed and released to her readers.

About the Author

Gemma's favorite desk accessories for many years were a circular wooden token, better known as a 'round tuit,' and a slip of paper from a fortune cookie proclaiming her a lover of words; some day she'd write a book. All it took was a transfer to the United Kingdom, the lovely English springtime, and a huge dose of homesickness to write her first novel. Once it was completed and sent off with a kiss, even the rejections addressed to 'Dear Author' were gratifying.

After returning to America, she spent a number of years as a copywriter, dedicating her skills to making insurance and the agents who sell them sound sexy. Eventually, her full-time job as a writer interfered with her desire to be a writer full-time and she left the world of financial products behind to pursue an avocation as a romance author.

Thanks so much for having me over today. I’m delighted to introduce Hearts In Harmony to you. Today I’d like to share six fun facts about my hero, Clay Mathers.

1.       Clay was meant to be the most alpha of alpha males. Gruff, base, and a mouth like an Army Ranger. He’s a patriot and fiercely loyal to his country and willing to drop everything like a bad habit whenever he is called to duty, even though he’s been out of active duty for a number of years. He still consults with several three-letter D.C. agencies. He is considered a master strategist and an asset to the team.

2.       All his bluster covers the soft, gooey center of him. He might love his country, but he loves his mother, Seeley, more. He willingly gave up his carefree bachelor life to rush to her side when she suffered a stroke.  Stepping in to help run Seeley’s Christmas tree farm while she recovers, he meets and is instantly attracted to her Music Therapist, Pippa Sanders. His early encounters with Pippa are a perfect example of his hard candy coating. Peeling away the rough edges was a real treat for me.

3.       Clay is an author of military style adventure stories, but his career got off to a rocky start. He tried to write in the science fiction genre at first, because he’d been a huge fan of William Shatner’s TekWar series about a hard-boiled detective from the 22nd century. Fortunately for the world, there is only one William Shatner, and Clay selected an alternative genre.

4.       Living on a houseboat wasn’t his first choice of abode, But he discovered that the marina life worked for him. His boat is docked near the nation’s capitol, where it’s convenient for his consulting business. It is also a great place for him to write since he doesn’t require anything more than a mobile hotspot on his phone to get online and do his work. He doesn’t know how it happened that he picked a boat, because he hates fishing.

5.       He is a fan of classic rock and roll, but can’t really sing. And he’ll only play air guitar when he is completely alone. It’s that hard candy coating thing again.

6.       When he first met Pippa, the attraction was instant. The second time they ran into each other, he learned she has twin six-year old kids. Even though he was an only child, he never longed for siblings. But the second he met the kids, he was drawn to them. Clay had never seen himself as a father, but the idea grew on him until it became a solid fact in his life. He wanted Pippa and her ready-made family. Plus maybe one or two more.  And that makes his mom very happy.

Aw - you just gotta love a man who loves his mother and will work to make her happy. Personally, I think Clay is a keeper.

In her own words... I have a mind that is easily distracted and prone to wandering. I believe that people are inherently sexual creatures and my characters be they human or something all together else are no exception.

Patti is currently working on her biggest event, ScareFest, which will be held at the Lexington Center on September 12-14, 2014.  It is herald as is one of the biggest "Horror and Paranormal" conventions to be held in the USA.  It is going into its seventh year and will feature many stars and celebrities from the horror and paranormal communities.
