Irene B. Trenas (Córdoba, 1986) se interesó por la escritura desde niña gracias a los poemas de Gloria Fuertes. Aunque licenciada en Filología Inglesa, trabaja en Integración Social con menores de barriadas en riesgo de exclusión. Ha publicado relatos y microrrelatos en distintos medios y ganado el Premio Droide de Poesía en 2022 y 2023. Ha colaborado en revistas como Droids and Druids y Pulporama, y escrito artículos para El Cadillac Negro durante ocho años. Además, fue co-charlatana durante dos años del podcast Señoras del leño, centrado en la ficción de terror.
