May Kindle Sales Figures ... If You Were Curious
Have not done a sales analysis in a while, so figured I would do my Kindle sales for May. At the end of June I'll revisit May when I get all my Smashwords reporting in and we can compare Kindle against iBooks.
So, May was my best month on Kindle ever sales wise. The stats are a little weird because Demon Girl was free for most of it.

Author Interview with Ian Kharitonov
It's not often I get to flaunt an award winning book on here *haughty face* Okay, this is the first time XD. This book featured today won the Grandmaster Award from the Clive Cussler Collector's Society. I had never heard of it before, but I've read up on it and am impressed. An achievement like this must be a massive buzz. And bonus! Ian is lovely, so I am happy to bring this interview to

Demon Day ... Nook Top 200
Not the Top 100. It took me most of the week to not feel upset about this. It reached 191 and then dropped down. It would have been so nice *sigh* Maybe it'll happen with book three in September as I continue to grow my readership. At the moment it's settled in the Top 300.
Okay, personal disappointment aside, this is still awesome. Within a day my book climbed to that position in the chart and

Demon Day ... A iBook UK Top 100 eBook!
Within a day of its appearance. Pretty cool, huh? I took some screen grabs off my iPhone. If anyone in the US/AU/CA is an iBooks user, and could tell me if its shown up over there yet I would owe you one!
Top 100 Paid iBooks UK
I was watching The Hangover 2 (going to do a film review post soon), checked my rankings and I was climbing nicely. The next time I checked just before I went to bed

Author Interview with Gayle Carline
You know how Carrie Bradshaw from Sex in the City was all cool and columnisty (I make up words on this blog weekly, indulge me with that one), well, I have a writer here who is a columnist, but that is only one string to her her flexible bow.
Hiya Gayle! Tell us about yourself and your journey as an Indie so far.My indie experience started sometime after my debut novel, Freezer Burn (a mystery)

Film Review: Attack the Block
The Gist: South London youths fight alien invasion on estate.
Outer space comes to the inner city. *Joygasm* Right? Nope. This film was an attempt to cross Kidulthood with Alien. Both great concepts in their own right, but combined is like custard and cheese spread on a cowpat cracker.
The lead character's name is Moses. As in, leading the people to the promised land, The Chosen One, Moses? Just

Kindle Free eBook Rush. IAN Interviews Vulutrix Fletcher & Sony Reader eStore. My oh My!
*Hearty sigh* At first, I was thrilled about the whole free eBook price match Amazon decided to do this month. Then I started thinking about what it meant long term.
The ONLY reason free eBooks works as a promotion tool, is because you're getting something that would not usually be free, for free. It didn't devalue books (like .99 does), because after a while you simply changed the price point

When you Get Tired & Your Forehead is Practically Making Love to your Desk
I am tired. I am irritable. And I am grumpy. In a nut shell. I'm in That Place where you're working your ass off, but still being moaned at ... or still have a million things to do and no time to do it.
Demon Day was approved by Smashwords this morning. I got an email from Mark Coker last night, apparently Sony asked them to put a rush on it *puzzled* Did not think Readers at Sony were that
