Well what the hell do you consider a "real" job!!
One where you make your money. You live, I;m sure. How so? Who paid for the device that allows you to comment on this?

It doesn’t matter, but I can tell you it was worked for, by someone.
You should never ever tell anyone you're a writer.
It’s a pretentious move. You should tell them your real job.
If you don’t have a real job and still think you’re a writer, thank your parents because you are still a baby. A pretentious one, even.
People work. Writers work. Writing is secondary and feeds off it.
Get off your ass and get over yourself.
I have decided. I’m bolting.
Not just from Golden Brook, but from SoDak. What’s keeping me here? Mom passed away and my son moved to Portland.
Empty nest syndrome.
But….I got a small pile of money (smaller after coming here), a 4X4 truck and a camper.
Since spring is coming, I figure i’ll head north. When winter comes, I’ll head farther north.
You people continue to bask in the sun. Me, I wanna wear mukluks.
