I've met very few...
I've met very few who were truly trivial. You cheat yourself and reveal a baseness in your unwavering and thus undeserved aloofness. Understand I don't mean to unhorse you. By all means aspire. But Nobility is defined by reactions as well as actions.
Yes. Someone addresses me. No worries, my friend. You will never be able to unhorse me, I am up here thoroughly ensconced and noble. You nailed me quite well, sort of: base, unwavering, and aloof, although you're wrong about the the base and unwavering. Close though!
I wish I wavered less and sexuality (even when a man has it) is not base.
Aloof. I am aloof, though….

"People tell me to come down off my high horse and to what? A low horse? Standing on the ground with the peasants?" Hahha lol, yeah~ mingle with the commoners :P
Eh. I don't think so. It's been SO done. Fuck that. I'm a nobleman. Why be like everyone else? Just because it's easy?
Call me Sir.

You're spending time...
You're spending time with the wrong women. Lowering your standards isn't the answer, but perhaps broadening the spectrum of women you surround yourself with? Find a woman that can hold an intelligent conversation. If they can do that, they can listen.
Yep. Reasonable and helpful advice that makes sense. Thanks. Unfortunately, I base everything on getting laid. I like to get laid. I'm totally pro getting laid.
So it's my own damn fault, yes. I can still whine about a problem I created, right? I mean, this IS Tumblr.
Anyway, it won't work, because I am geared to be dissatisfied. Many are. Like here on Tumblr, people think things suck because things are sucky but it's actually just cuz they prefer it that way. People LOVE drama and chaos, and I'm no different, and like everyone else, I create it to make my life more interesting.
The only difference between me and them is that I'm older and know it. It's all the same shit, man.
I have never really tried to say anything, though.
It's probably my fault. I'm really quiet (IRL) and don't say much. People think I'm an idiot cook, which is actually kind of cool.
Little do they know.
I may come of as a bit sexist in my last post, but, sorry, it's the goddamn truth, in my experience at least. Not every woman is like that, you say?
Please, for the love of god, give her my number. (it's 1-800-ASSHOLE).
I have never met a woman who really listens.
At first, sure. But then she launches into whatever quotidian shit she's got trapped under the bullshit I don't want to hear about. Like, I wanna hear about her flossing schedule or how her and her friend Lindsay saw a scary bug.
Look, I'm trying to focus here.
People tell me to come down off my high horse and to what? A low horse? Standing on the ground with the peasants?
Fuck that. I am shamelessly intellectual. Your tv watching? I judge you. You are an inferior being.
Someone get a 6-pack of beer and come talk to me. Please.

I don't get why there is a debate on my dash about whether or not it's socially acceptable to hit a woman
Like unless any person, a man or a woman or ANYONE, is physically threatening me or being violent towards me, I don't think you should EVER hit anyone EVER!!!
Why is that a hard concept to understand? Like why do people even debate that? It's a silly, trivial non-issue if you ask me.
Chris Rock said "Ain't nobody above an ass-beatin'." The way I look at it: either we all are or none of us are.

Cell Phones & Movies
Has anyone else noticed that the impact of the cell phone on movies is huge? Last night I watched Silence of the Lambs, an old, great movie with one of the most compelling and completely awesome female characters ever written: Clarice Starling. In the end, when Clarice is going after the superfreak in the pitch-black basement, I kept thinking, "If only it was ten years later, poor Clarice could call for backup!"
But it was 1990 or 91 and Clarice had to take care of the situation all by her lonesome, which, of course, made for a better movie. If someone came and helped her, how lame would that have been?
Nowadays, you have to weave the cell phone into the plot, as an explanation, for getting the character(s) truly isolated. Jeepers Creepers, one of the better recent horror flicks, had to take a moment showing us how the cell phone was dead and how the car's cigarette lighter was broken, therefore making a quick recharge impossible. In The Strangers, another good movie, the cell phones are ruined by the killers.
To truly isolate a character(s) these days, you not only have to get them alone and away, you have to do something about their cell phones. I see it time and again: The phone's dead! The phone's lost! The phone's forgotten! The phone's broken! Sometimes, it simply doesn't have service out here in the woods with the monster/killer/bad guy.
I find it amusing. What are they gonna do in another 20 years when we all have computer chips under our skin and are tracked by GPS satellites?

marieleafbread replied to your post: I am interested in your writing as I am a writer too (although unpublished), but how did you come about following me?
I'm also curious how you came about following me. Also I really want to read your book but have no way of ordering it online, is it available in stores?
Yeah, but it's unlikely it's on the shelf. Bookstores generally don't waste shelf space on unknowns. They want shit that sells. You can find Snooki's book on the shelf :)
But, yeah, they can order it for you and you pay for it there at the counter when it comes in…
I love your style and I hope you continue writing for a long time to come. I think its wonderful getting involved into writing very deeply. I plan to do that very thing when I'm a bit older. I've already taken a couple steps and gotten a bit of publication
Not really. Just keep at it. Write for expression or for the piece you're working on, and never compromise for the audience. Generally, the audience is an idiot. If you're writing to make money or to become famous, stop. Go into marketing.
