A good way to spend Monday, I have discovered, is drinking tequila sunrises.

I have also learned that it is a good way to spend Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

Could there be a more versitile coping mechanism? I mean, seriously?

Made with my own personal Grenadine. I don’t know Rose personally, but between you and mean, she seems like a cheap-ass bitch. Artificial flavoring? High FUCKtose corn syrup?

Get a grip, Rose.

If you take pomegranate juice and warm it up on the stove (no boiling), then add an equal amount of organic cane sugar, stir and dissolve, you will have Grenadine. If you wanna get fancy and add another layer of aroma, put a splash of rosewater in it.

Summer 2015 for me is, apparently, the Summer of Tequila.

CHEERS!

At the store today an older couple were arguing. They were, I'd say, in their late 50s or early 60s.

They were standing in front of the lemons and limes.

“A dollar fifty per lemon?” the woman says. “That’s ridiculous.”

I should also mention they had a very, very full grocery cart.

“Well,” the guy says, “I only need three or four.”

“What about these?” The woman indicated a display a few feet away that contained those plastic lemons which held lemon juice. “These are only 99 cents.”

The guy shrugged, still staring at the real, buck and a half lemons. “Eh. I want real lemon juice. Fresh squeezed.”

“But they’re a dollar fifty apiece!”

“That whiskey sour mix you bought me was around five dollars and it tastes like shit.”

“Five dollars,” she says. “Five dollars for a half gallon.”

“And you still got ripped off. Look, I only have a few good years left. If I wanna make my own whiskey sour mix with fresh squeezed lemons, I’m gonna. I’m not gonna stand here and quibble over a few cents when we already have $200 in groceries in our cart.”

He ripped off a bag, filled it with six buck and a half lemons, and threw it on top of their other stuff.

“Now, let’s get goin’.”

True story. Haha.

racismschool:

No, people aren’t “More sensitive” now. People aren’t too “Politically Correct” now. Nor are people “Just looking for a reason to be offended” now.

We, as a people, know better now. Therefore we, as a people, are trying to do better now.

Great. I hope you succeed. But you don’t get to determine standards and right and wrong for other people just because you’ve determined you “know better”.

I’m sorry. You’re not the boss of me.

:)

Let’s just say, the police must think of a nonviolent way to deal with people who tell them to FUCK OFF, because it’s going to be happening more and more.

Unless the person was molesting a child, doing a line of coke, or giving head to an unregistered .45, there is no reason Sandra Bland should have been in jail.

You don’t get to lock people up just because they aren’t nice to you.

Sandra forgot to turn on her signal and went to jail purely and ONLY because she dissed a cop. That was her “crime”.

Jesus, I’m pissed about this.

Sorry for all the posts about it. Probably repetitive…

Might want to educate yourself a little better. "a cop doesn’t get to order a citizen around willy-nilly" Except the part where it's a federal ruling stating that during a lawful traffic stop, an officer can order you out of the vehicle. See: Pennsylvania

Duh, you’re citing law as if it’s above the will and desire of the people. Have you not watched the news? Do you not see how people are reacting to the behavior of our “law enforcement officers”?

Regardless of your precious law decisions, which you cite as if they are important, your cops are going to have to clean up their shit. I mean if you truly insist policing in America is reasonable and will enforce that belief of yours with violent police activity, then you will have actual revolution. So what’s it gonna be, bossman?

I don’t give a shit what some old white guys behind a bench say. You do, and that’s where we differ. On the street even you can see how those brilliant decisions are panning out. Ah, the difference between abstract and concrete! Always the bane of the sophomoric thinker.

The police are outta line. Bring it, motherfucker.

She didn't have to put out her cigarette, it was a request, not an order. Refusing to step out of the vehicle during a stop however, is a crime, which she committed. Her committing suicide is a completely different issue.

I watched the video (which was edited by the police, and obviously). Um, a cop doesn’t get to order a citizen around willy-nilly. Not anymore. The cigarette thing was a test for obedience and when he saw that she wasn’t going to be an obedient little doggy he amped it up. He escalated it every step of the way.

I don’t know about her suicide/murder or whatever it was, but that woman didn’t turn on her blinker and went to jail for it and you will never convince that that was justice. I saw the video. Plain as day that guy was a dick and nothing more. No amount of badge will justify it.
