Lizzie Borden, #Zombie Hunter 2 Release & Blog Tour!

Today is the release day for  Lizzie Borden, Zombie Hunter 2: The Axe Will Fall.

It's the sequel to Lizzie Borden, Zombie Hunter (2nd edition) and is set after the trial of 1893 where Lizzie Borden was acquitted of brutally hacking her father and stepmother to death with a hatchet (axe.)

As book 2 happens after the trial is over, the story is pure fiction and follows events from book 1. Yes, it has spoilers so be sure to read the first book.

If you don't know the true crime story or the rhyme (Lizzie Borden took an axe, gave her father forty whacks...)  - Lizzie Borden, a 32-year-old Sunday School teacher and the youngest unmarried daughter, was arrested and tried for the brutal axe murders of her 70-year-old father, Andrew Borden, and her 64-year-old stepmother, Abby Durfee Borden. She was acquitted of the crime in June 1893.

** The book is based on trial and real life events, and includes trial, newspaper and inquest excerpts.

The question still remains: did she do it? But... what if she had an awful reason to commit this most horrendous crime?
