Happy Birthday Lizzie Borden!

Today is Lizzie Borden's Birthday!
The Fall River, Mass. accused murderess was born July 19, 1860.






It was never fully proven that Lizzie, a 32-year-old spinster and Sunday School teacher, committed the crime. No one else was arrested or charged. The crime was never solved. 
Until now.

What if Lizzie did do it...because she had no other choice? 

The "proof"... is in the crime and the autopsy photos. I'll explain more soon...

Creepy Doll #Horror

I've posted before about dolls - some love 'em, some hate 'em, some are afraid of them...

I happen to like and collect some dolls, but no, nothing like this. Actually, I have to admit this is the first I've seen something like this... 

I saw this post first on Facebook and had to share.

I can appreciate the creativity, thought and planning that goes into these sculptures formed from doll parts by Australian artist Freya Jobbins... Click to look - and yikes! Some are life-sized!  (Talk about nightmares!?)

I admit, they're eerie, and fascinating, amazing, and a little skin-crawling maybe but you have to keep looking, right? Intriguing and... ?

This time I'm going to share a line from my first zombie book which offers a different take on the genre.
Becca is 16, and after an accidental scratch, is now part-zombie. And no, it's nothing like you think. For a teen, it's far worse...
