Alpha. Beta. Gamma!
Greetings and super happy pre-football epic weekend (at least here in A2) to you all! Today I want to make a quick introduction to a character I created who will populate upcoming FREE NOVELS from yours truly. I'll do this by way of a quick interview, if you will permit me this silly (yet super fun for me) affectation? Yeah? Cool. Here we go. Liz: Welcome to LizLandia Sawyer Callahan. You're in "my" business at least part of the time. Why don't you tell my fans and followers a bit[image error]

The Pear Shaped Bell
We've all been there when things go sideways, take a turn for the worse, do a u-turn, or a backflip or otherwise go from perfectly nice to utterly awful in the seeming blink of an eye. The time I spent living in England gave me my favorite phrase for this: going pear-shaped. It's such an odd visual, you know? Kind of wide and low and fat around the bottom, like something's dropped from the top and is pooling there, waiting for someone to pop it, to release all the badness. Or something.

The Lovely Nina Pierce, Ladies & Gents!
I'm celebrating the release of the firefighter anthology INTO THE FLAMES by welcoming the woman who put it all together, Nina Pierce! Liz: Putting an anthology together is a ton of work. What made you decide to give it a try? Nina: Readers love anthologies. But what isn’t to love about 7-12 book bundles for $0.99 – even if that price is a limited time. It’s such a bargain. I do have books in two other multi-author bundles, neither or which I organized. One was a great group experience

L: I know you write and enjoy both paranormal and steam punk novels. Are there elements of either in "Where There's Smoke," the book you've included in our INTO THE FLAMES anthology? C: Oddly enough, this story came together with absolutely no paranormal aspects at all. I got so into the era of the 1920s that I didn’t feel

Join me in welcoming the New York Times Bestselling Author NJ Walters to Liz Land today! Liz: Tell us the story of your first published book: how long did it take to get it published? by whom? How was the experience? What was it about? NJ: I wrote my first book in the mid 90s. Actually, I wrote two. I shopped them around a bit and then put them in a drawer. Flash forward to 2003 and I saw an online writing contest. They wanted the first chapter of a book, and the deadline was two days. I
