Spiderwork Goes to Book Noise and IPBR
Jennifer at Book Noise has reviewed Spiderwork.
(She loved it)
And Michelle at Indie Paranormal Book Reviews has reviewed it too.
(She liked it … but I don't think she loved it — I hope I get her with Bleeder)

And the winner is …
Space Junque vs Hero Material
I can't believe how much I miss Space Junque.
Not the story — it's all there, unadulterated, in Hero Material.
But I want my Space Junque back! Is it just a sentimental attachment? I've set up a poll in the sidebar. Please vote!
And don't worry – the same wonderful artist, Robin at Ludwig Design, designed both covers, so you won't be hurting anyone's feelings!
Genre Wars
And the battle is all in my (and many other authors', it seems) brain.
I thought I wrote paranormal romance, but I'm starting to believe it's more romantic sci-fi fantasy. For the Apocalypto series, think Dune meets Handmaid's Tale meets Lorna Doone.
I need to consult a genre expert.

Copperhead
From the comments:
Stephanie says:
I loved the book and thought that they were an interesting concept to write about. I'm sure you get this question a lot but I couldn't seem to find the answer anywhere. Are you ever going to revisit Char and Jake and what they did with the rest of their lives? I just kind of feel incomplete with how their story ended. The same thing goes for Durga and Khai. Are you ever going to tells us what happened in those 80 years that they rebuilt the world?
Yes, to all these questions.
I'm planning a third book set in the In Flagrante time period. It's Jordana's story, called Copperhead.
It opens when Jordana's mother Rani (Jake's half-sister) first becomes an exotic, about ten years before the events of Hero Material/Space Junque, and shows how Rani meets Jordana's father up to the opening of Bleeder. If you've started Bleeder, you're probably wondering where Jordana got that snake tattoo!
Copperhead goes all the way to the opening of Bleeder. We'll see much more of Jake and Char and Khai and Durga — also other favorites like Alice, Faina, and Mirabel.
Not to mention, what Sky's life was like.
A true epic.
It's plotted out. There are also at least two more books to come in the Ex Post time period. The only decision I have to make now is whether to focus on Copperhead first or finish the Ex Post cycle and then come back to the earlier time period.
Lexicon Apocalypto
There's a new page on the site, a glossary of terms in the Apocalypto series. This was suggested by Stacey at Goodreads. Great suggestion! I've probably left terms out, so I may add to it from time to time.
I tried to make it not spoilery, so rather than a definitive guide it is more of an orientation device. There really are a lot of characters and new terms in this world.

Bleeder is Going Live!
I think it's wonderful. I know I'm not supposed to say that … of course I could be wrong.
Bleeder is uploading right now.
How to grab a deal: Bleeder is about 107K words, and it will be priced accordingly: $4.95. But for the rest of March, it will be at the introductory price of 3.99.
BUT … you can get Bleeder for .99 if you catch it when it goes live. I price it there for a few hours so it costs me less to send out the review copies. Nothing to keep you from getting in on the deal! I'll try to post the link here when Amazon has it up. You never know with Amazon how long it will take to get a book out.
Anyway … it's coming!

Blue Amber Goes to 100 Stars Or Less
What a lovely review of Blue Amber at 100 Stars Or Less!
It's wonderful when someone enjoys the story — makes me want to keep writing!
