my destroyer of light came in!!!! now all i need to do is finish RoM lol i am a procrastinator reader

There are so many people who are slightly jealous of you right now, because you’re not going to have to go through six months of waiting through the terrible cliffhanger I left at the end of Receiver of Many.

Enjoy the end of the book and Destroyer of Light!

Concept for a porno:

Woman reclining seductively on a bed. The door swings open. The Grim Reaper walks in.

Woman gives the Reaper a husky look. “So,” she drawls. “Death has finally come for me.”

“Not yet,” replies the Reaper, and strips off its robe

Do you have any book/poetry recommendations for Hades and Persephone retellings?

i found a book list here BUT my first choice will forever be Receiver of Many by Rachel Alexander seriously my personal all time favorite AND the second book Destroyer of Light was released yesterday!

poetry:

Hades and Persephone by Jo Walton
A Myth of Devotion by Louise Glück
Hades To Persephone by Lee Ann Schaffer
Persephone Pauses by Carolyn Kizer
Deliver by Robbie Blair
Persephone by UltimateOutlaw
Persephone speaks by Amrita C. Persephone Falling by Rita Dove

also to get in the mood i highly recommend Hadestown by Anaïs Mitchell you can listen to the whole album here. Epic (Part II) featuring Justin Vernon (Bon Iver) is the greatest omg! Basically the whole song is pure poetry:

…And Hades is king of the scythe and the sword
He covers the world in the color of rust
He scrapes the sky and scars the earth
And he comes down heavy and hard on us

But even that hardest of hearts unhardened
Suddenly when he saw her there
Persephone in her mother’s garden
Sun on her shoulders, wind in her hair
The smell of the flowers she held in her hand
And the pollen that fell from her fingertips
And suddenly Hades was only a man
With a taste of nectar upon his lips…

As promised my review of Receiver of Many, please appreciate I will have read this book in exactly the same way as I read any other, so I do have some critiques. But this is a great story and it’s wonderful to see a writer who is so talented. Enjoy!

Alguma previsão se lançar, publicar ou até mesmo traduzir seus livros para português?

I’d love to, but as an independent author I can afford translation services. One day, I might be able to. But for now, sorry, it will be a long time before you see my work translated into Portuguese.
