Hey kata, quick question for ya: did you use any references to help create the environments in your books?
There were a few places here and there that I drew as inspiration for the book. I live in a Mediterranean climate, so the feel of this area gave me some cues as to how it would feel in Greece.
Most other references were 100% direct. Picture from the Telesterion in Eleusis, Crete, pictures from Greece itself, the modern day Greek countryside…
And then there were other more obscure sources I used. Like, how does one build on a cliff? What about modern day Lhasa? What about the Amalfi Coast? Those were some of my reference points from the Underworld.

Honestly, I think Alex Kingston would be a FANTASTIC Demeter. She’s beautiful, as goddesses in Greek mythology tend to be… I don’t know. She just looks like a harvest goddess to me???

I LOVE Ares and Aphrodite, and wrote a short story about their first meeting. I would love to explore more territory with Ares, Aphrodite and Hephaestus.
And who knows… maybe we will see more of them on the screen?

I am currently hard at work on The Good Counselor, and also (super exciting) working towards a possible TV series or movie based on my ongoing book series.

You're works are amazing! When does the next book come out?
I’m hard at work on the next book, but now I’m also hard at work making Receiver of Many and Destroyer of Light into a possible movie or TV series.
