@therkalexander

look up Pharos Ensemble. I’ve found what should be the Soundtrack for your show. Erini, the lead singer is incredible. I feel like this is the lullaby Iason sang to Persephone and that Charon hums on the Styx.

Oooo I have a great idea for a title (that I want you to pitch and be able to use w/o legal trouble) ahm Olympus fallen (as it actually relates to Persphone and her court

Well, I appreciate where you’re coming from, and it’s a great title.

But because it was sent to me personally via PM there is now literally no way I can use that title even if I wanted to.

I’m not trying to rag on you at all. I promise.

But intellectual property is a tricky thing, and even if there was a waver or memo or indemnification to sign, there’s still the whole whisper network and call out culture here and on other social media where a simple unofficial permission to use a title would quickly morph into “hey did you hear Rachel Alexander steals other peoples ideas”

So because of that, and believe me when I say I appreciate your enthusiasm, and that you love my work so much, I have to keep a wide separation between the places occupied by my ideas and the places occupied by others’ ideas.

I really like the name Pawns of Olympus but if people use an acronym like GOT it would be POO trending on Twitter

That’s why it’s likely a working title only. I mean, the working titles for lots of stuff change all the time… like when they changed “The Southern Vampire Mysteries” working title to “True Blood”. There might be a thousand iterations before a producer settles on a final title for the show.

Anus anon clearly hasn’t read A First Press Of Olives

I think they did though, then read my ask about squirting, then wrote in. However, any excuse I have to write the sentence ‘never look a gift smut in the anus’ is a good one, so…

I’ve been silent for too long and can no longer bear to keep this inside: @therkalexander is a good person and deserves many good things.
