Wowww June came and went just like that, didn’t it.
What happened was… I ended up going overboard with that Slipshine comic, got a bit obsessive making the lines just right and making everything EXTRA SHINY and I overworked myself and almost died. That’s what happened.
What can I say… Slipshine’s my baby and it needs me more than usual right now, so I do need to continue doing at least one 10-page comic a month for it for the foreseeable future, and it has to take priority over You Suck. This month I’ll try not to go so nuts with it, but who knows. Who knows what I’ll do. Not me!
I’ll be sure to post stuff on the Patreon regularly about whatever comics I’m working on at the time. I’ll revise it a bit so it’s not so You Suck promise-centric, but it’ll still be worth everyone’s dollar.
Right now I’m taking a small break from comics completely to take part in the FFV Four Job Fiesta, and am currently about halfway done with that. Once that’s over, back to comics comics comics.
I do got an ending to this chapter and it will get drawn.

PREVIOUSLY ON THE FOUR JOB FIESTA…
Jerry & co, through trials and tribulations, made it to the other two crystals, and with them, Gilgabot came forth to assign them their remaining two jobs: Ranger & Samurai
Together with the Fighter and Berserker, Jerry now has a complete team… of meatheads. Nothing but physical combat through and through. Who needs magic? Who needs support abilities? All we need to know is how to smash things with our swords and shoot things with our bows. Though occasionally we may call upon help from the animal kingdom.
With their Fiesta fate sealed, Jerry & friends exit their own mortal world and find themselves at Gaulf’s home, not yet knowing the harsh battles they have coming. Will their brute strength be enough to take on the likes of Gilgamesh, Atomos, and X-Death himself!?

In the previous stream, I found two crystals, and gained two jobs:The Knight… and, yes, the FJF mascot itself: the Berserker… not exactly the greatest luck from Gilgabot thus far. While that’s quite a bit of raw power to steamroll over the early enemies, Jerry & co will be in deep trouble if they don’t end up with at least one useful support ability!
The Fire crystal is next. Will we get blessed with the elemental support of the ninja or burdened with a Geomancer, sitting in the back and ringing his little bell?

Finally jumping into the FFV fiesta today. I haven’t played any
(non-mobile) videogames in months, so I really wanted to take part in

Just added to the Patreon - the original series of which my recent Slipshine story was a reboot of.
Polly was originally named “Polyp”… but honestly it was supposed to be based on the ocean term, not the medical term. It’s one of those decisions I would have thought through a bit more these days; naming a character that really enjoys anal sex “Polyp” does not fall in the category of my best porn ideas.
Anyway, the comic includes a lot of bad anime hair, blood-spurting edgy violence, and a few problematic sex scenes. It was also the first comic to be posted on Slipshine when it officially opened on January 1, 2002. For various reasons, it can no longer be found on Slipshine… but you can find it in my Patreon, right now!
The PatreonObviously I won’t be able to post five You Sucks this month… but I’ll figure something out.
