Twit·ter·pat·ed [twit-er-pey-tid] to be excited or overcome by romantic feelings, smitten, originated in the 1942 Walt Disney classic, Bambi.
Which my spellcheck also refuses to recognize. Wonder how spellcheck feels about Thumper?
For the purpose of this blog I'm describing my infatuation with the social media site, twitter. I have no idea how long this will last. Six...

New Release: One Night in Reno
As I was updating my website this weekend I realized it had been a long time between books again. Frankly, too long. That's why I'm thrilled to announce the Memorial Day Launch of my first indie published novella One Night in Reno!
Some of you might remember this as a short story I put up on my website several years ago. It has since doubled in size to a nice 15,000 word / 62 page novella. It's still short enough to be read on a lunch hour or just before bed, and priced...

The Goal Dress

An entire closet full of clothes and nothing to wear. I'm not kidding about that. I have to drop two sizes before I have any decent options. Six sizes before I wear them out.
There's one dress in my closet that sings to my heart. I wish the picture showed the finer details. It's brown, a color that looks surprisingly good on me.
I found it a couple years ago at a half price sale and just had to have it. It didn't matter that the dress was a size 14 and I was a size whatever at the time or that it had a broken zipper.
Having a goal dress is something that inspires me to stay on track. The fact that I picked it up for under $10 makes it priceless. So I'm hauling it out for my first official weigh in. What inspires you to stay on track?

Shopping Day

It gets harder every year to bounce back.
It's time to examine everything I've learned, take control and reach my goal weight once and for all.
Today is about small changes.
1. Clean out the closet.
2. Clean out the cupboards.
3. Go shopping.

Q&A May Day Celebration!

A: Normally, I'd don a toga and hand out flowers at DIA. But due to FAA regulations I'm no longer allowed anywhere near an airport in a toga.
It's just as well. It's snowing here in Colorado. Brrrrr. A light dusting of 3-6" that should disappear by tomorrow, and then it's back to spring like weather.
However, if you're in the mood for a little pagan celebration today don't forget to enter my drawing for a $25 amazon.com gift card. ...
