A lucky man.

Anyone who knows me, really knows me, knows that there is no one or thing in this world that I love more than my step-daughter. I met her in 2004, when she was 1, and my life was changed forever. I hadn’t been a parent before, but that didn’t stop me from diving in head first. Christopher Beck It's good that you get to talk to her, John. Sorry you all had to to through that. Today my ex and I are friends and I still get to see my step-daughter on a weekly basis. Still bothers me I can't be there everyday, but at least not all is lost.

message 1: by John

John Allen It took me a while, but I just read what you wrote about your stepdaughter. I went through the same thing with mine. She was five when I met her mother and I helped raise her eleven years. After her mother and I divorced she stayed close to me. I haven't spoken to my ex in ten years, but I call my stepdaughter at least once a month.
