Bob's book have characters that are secretly based on famous philosophers. Mostly Ancient or existential. But plenty of less applauded ones as well (Marquis de Sade).

Author of The Phoenix Cycle.

One suggestion before you read The Phoenix Cycle and become one of his fans that leaves Bob a slew of aggressive love letters. (Just kidding, only happened once or twice) is to read the book slowly. This book is not Twilight. Go too fast and you'll have no idea why it's doing what it's doing. Nearly every line of the book has 3 meanings, ranging from story structure, character point of view, to the philosophical.

Bob Collopy The story of baby books

message 11: by Bob

Bob Collopy I'm trying to make my book free on Amazon.

If you guys could help me do this I'd be so thankful.

It'll take only a minute...maybe less

1. Copy this URL:

http://www.barnesandnoble.com/w/the-p...

2. Go to amazon here and scroll down to product details. Click the "tell us about a lower price" blue button. A little pop-up should, well, pop up!

3. enter the URL you copied and basically put everything as free

that's it!

Mollie Loved that answer, Robert. Made me laugh. :)

Bob Collopy As we sit down to the table to consume burned bird I think it would be interesting to point out a few strange facts about this sacred food stuffing holiday.

1. When the Macy's Thanksgiving parade began

the parade only used real animals, no elaborate floats.

2. The night before Thanksgiving is the single

biggest night for bar sales. Cheers!

3. Thanksgiving was not an official holiday until Lincoln

4. This is the busiest day for plumbers due to "Overwhelm(ing) the system."

5. Canadians even celebrate Thanksgiving! But on the second Thursday of November.

♡Karlyn P♡ thanks for the friend request!

Nancy Good luck with your thesis, Robert.

Jeffrey Keeten Thanks Robert for the friend request. I look forward to watching your thesis develop.

Thanks for your interest in my thesis!

i agree, from my secondary research i have found that personal interaction is a big negative in blogging. I hope to find some remedy to that, that has not already been done.

This is why I am community focused. I hope to create something that really adds to the community and that creates a type of culture/system that makes people more apt to acting in a more appropriate manner. I guess you could say that I'm trying to find something that is less stick and more carrot really. (Unlike the Good Reads policy enforcement)

Robert Edward Glad you like the answer!

I've spent way too much time planning the coming zombie attacks.

Thanks so much on the thesis approach! I hope my thesis will really make a positive impact on the book blogging community!

seak Hi Robert, I think you're thesis is a great idea. I think the author/reader relationship is incredibly interesting (mostly due to the blogging thing I guess) and I'm curious to see how things go. I feel like it's good on the whole and only want the interaction to get better, but it can also be a bad thing for the community in certain ways (hence the Goodreads policy enforcement). Anyway, let me know if I can help.

Steph Sinclair Hey, Robert

Great answer. I don't think anyone has thought of a medieval suit of armor yet.

Re: your thesis, I can already tell you that it would be a success and that's what many bloggers look for when associating with authors. Good luck!
