She writes thrillers and children's stories. She loves to read, swim, travel and enjoy nature.
What are people saying?
"This book was an enjoyable mystery and kept me guessing until the end. I loved the way the author wove animal rights into the story. It's a great book for those friends who don't understand why people are concerned about animal rights. Good for consciousness raising and an enjoyable read!"
"I have to say I loved this book from the moment I started it until the very last page.
I thought the author did a great job of bringing her characters, especially Alex, to life. A great mystery set in an animal laboratory, which was a nice twist, something different from the usual mysteries doing the rounds nowadays. A book involving highly intelligent chimps will always grab my attention.
An engrossing must read for kindle lovers."

V is for Courtney Vail

What are people saying?
"Imagine knowing something terrible is about to happen but no one believes you. Imagine being unsure who is an enemy and who is a friend. Seventeen-year-old Majesty Alistair finds herself in just such a position when she overhears two fellow students planning a church massacre. Intent on unmasking the culprits, she stumbles into something far bigger and more dangerous than she ever could have dreamed. Can she avert disaster in time? Disturbing, dark and immensely powerful ... this is one of the most original YA novels I've read in a while, and definitely the most gritty."
"First off let me say that I totally heart this book! You have a great author and a great story together and WHAM! The cover is amazing and you will understand it at the end. I really did enjoy all..ALL the characters they were all well written and well rounded. As for suspense well I couldn't put it down because I wanted..no need to know what was going on, going to happen, and to who! I was left with my mouth hanging open as I was totally wrong when I thought I knew what was going on. WELL PLAYED Vail, well played :) Look forward to more things from her!
So, if you haven't yet ... get it ... read it... enjoy the ride."

U is for...u need to hear this
Okay, so I had nothing to post for U so I'm going to post one of my new favorite songs. I'm not saying it's the greatest song in the world or anything, I'm just saying that it is so catchy I haven't been able to get it out of my head for like five days and I just listened to it three times in a row. I hope you enjoy it half as much as I do.

What are people saying?
"I heard the author speak at Geek Girl Con, she is absolutely amazing! I've bought copies for friends and family. Thieves At Heart is the first book, in what I'm sure will be an epic masterpiece. I strongly recommend you read this book!"
"A great story set in a beautiful, fantastic yet very realistic world. The depth of the characters is wonderful and its easy to get attached to them, and the more you read the more you want to know about them. Tavera is such a great character. You can root for her, feel her loss or be angry with her, but you always want to come back and see what is going to happen next."

Writing is my passion! I write simple for children so they don't get bored easily. I plan on venturing out in the YA field after the series is completed!

S is for Steven Stickler
Steven Stickler is no rocket scientist. He will never be confused with a professional athlete. He is not (despite widespread rumors) the actor who played Cousin Oliver in The Brady Bunch, nor was he a guest drummer for the Beatles during a brief period in the mid-1960s.He is something completely different: a writer. He began writing when he was five years of age and, perhaps due to an oversight by those in positions of authority, was never told to stop. He lives in the great Pacific Northwest of the United States, where he enjoys exploring the outdoors with his family and, of course, reading at least one book by Dr. Seuss every year.
What are people saying?
"From the first chapter, I was instantly in love with this book! The writing is solid, and very relatable for children without talking down to them. The concept is original, and adventurous, while encouraging children to use their minds to solve problems instead of violence. The details of history shine through, and the characters are very believable.
I would recommend this book for any child seeking adventure, but adults may enjoy it as well. It would be the perfect story to read together!"
"This book is an interesting read with plenty of suspense, non-violent action, adventure, intrigue as well as exposure to several historical sites and characters integrated into the story. It reminds me a bit of The Magic Tree House Series in that time travel takes one back in History to visit the Parthenon as well as interacting with Thomas Jefferson, making him come alive. Auggie and Emily are very creative and resourceful in planning and accomplishing their many escapes from the Time Vultures!! I can imagine even a normally reluctant reader being "grabbed" by this book. Highly recommended!"

R is for Caddy Rowland

She lives in Minnesota with her husband, who was her high school sweetheart. They are owned by two parrots. Yes, they can talk, and yes, they can bite! Melanie, the African Grey has such an extensive vocabulary that Caddy sometimes thinks Melly is preparing to become an author.
After over 20 twenty years in advertising sales, Caddy decided to pursue her childhood dream of becoming an author in 2011. There are four books planned for the Gastien series, and many other books in her head. Now, if only she can learn to type 2000 words a minute...
Her goal as an author is to make readers laugh, cry, think, and become intimately connected with her main characters. To her, a good main character stays in the mind long after the story has been read. They should become as real in the mind as the person next door.
Caution: this book contains adult scenes that may be offensive to some.

L is for Liz Grace Davis

Liz Grace Davis is a Namibian author. She grew up in Angola, Namibia, South Africa and Germany. She now lives with her husband in Vienna, Austria. Growing up, Liz spent most her days in school libraries, diving into the world of books. In her spare time she loves to travel, create jewelry and digital scrapbooks. She's in her element when she is doing anything that requires creativity. Liz recently published her Young Adult fantasy novel, Tangi's Teardrops. She also writes for adults and her contemporary romance novel will be available in March 2012.
What are people saying?
"Tangi's Teardrops is a beautifully written story depicting the triumph of gentleness and kindness. Tangi will tug at the reader's heartstrings as she faces sadness with hope, and counters deliberate cruelty with compassion. The magical qualities of love are revealed through Tangi's efforts to save a far away kingdom. Liz Grace Davis's moving lyrical prose transports the reader to a place of innocence and purity that is seldom visited."
"Tangi's Teardrops is a story about a poor young girl named Tangi, who's father recently passed away, leaving her nothing but three small glass bottles. She and her mean step sisters go to live with her Uncle. While her Uncle is away for work, Tangi gets treated horribly not only by her sisters but the housekeeper. On night Tanji has a dream that changes her life forever...
Tangi's Teardrops was such a beautifully written story. You are not just reading the story, you are shown it. I pictured every detail in my mind. Absolutely great writing. The only problem I have with Tangi's Teardrops is that its too short. I would have love to see more adventures in Rosevine. Hopefully this means that there will be a second book.
Tangi's Teardrops is a clean book and I highly recommend it to anyone young or old."
