Summer Solstice with Eden Baylee

Summer Solstice
The lovely Lisa has graciously offered me space on her blog to talk about my latest book, Spring into Summer — a book of four erotic novellas, two that take place in spring and two in the summer.
Lisa is one hot woman, so it’s only fitting I write about my story “Summer Solstice.” It’s the third one in my book and it’s filled with fire symbolism—almost as hot as the men Lisa frequently has on her blog.
The story is about Ava Connors, a woman who’s suffered heartbreak and turned inward. She copes with her disillusionment of men by having fantasies with her many ‘toys.’
Now … I’m a fan of toys, so this part of the story was nicely researched. It was hard work, but I had to do it. 
Also included in this story are hot pagan rituals, some of them sexually motivated. What I didn’t know until I researched Paganism was that it encompasses a diverse community—groups who practice witchcraft, Celtic traditions, and worship specific gods. Wiccans, Druids, Shamans, and Heathens all make up parts of the Pagan community.
I really enjoyed learning about sexy Pagans as they pertained to Summer Solstice, and I hope you will as well. I’d be thrilled if you picked up my book and found out more.

Insanity Week 4 – So Far My Results Are Mixed
I’ve been doing this Insanity thing for a while now and so far, I’ve had really mixed results. First off, I haven’t lost a single pound. I sweat, I yell and curse and jump and still, not one single pound lost. It’s a little discouraging.
But, on the other hand, I’ve had to buy a belt cause my pants keep falling down and while that is fun at parties, it often happens at inopportune moments. Like when I’m on the bus. I can also see muscle tone where there wasn’t any before and my coworkers have mentioned that I “look smaller.” So that is nice.
I think that Insanity isn’t really designed for weight loss though. The people that seem to do it are already in shape and are mostly looking to simply improve their already buff physique. They are not chunky writers with coffee and fine pastry addictions.
I’m about halfway through all this madness and I have no intention of quitting now. Belts are nice and all, but I’d still like to get rid of some of the tonnage. We’ll see if that actually happens.

Insanity Week 3 – I am Misaligned
I have a real problem keeping my wrists and shoulders in line when doing all those flop around on the floor and sweat things Shaun T makes me do. I keep leaning back and my arms go into an angled line that looks something like this: / They probably shouldn’t do that and every time they do it, I have to stop grunting and cursing and realign myself all over again. It is really inconvenient.
Yeah, my form looks nothing like that.
