LSCC Sketch: The Swedish Chef

I've been holding this one back in the hopes that the birthday represented here has already been and gone (spoilers and all that).

Fred the Clown: The Interesting Thursday

The formal challenge here was to imply all the action between panels, and only show the consequences of unseen escapades, and the seeds of escapades to come to which we are not made privy – with none of the exciting bits in between. I think this can work really well in comics in a way that it wouldn't in, say, film (although you sometimes see it done there as well), because in comics you can linger on the image and put the clues together. Anyway, this is still one of my favourite strips.

This version was redrawn for...? I want to say Tripwire.

Fred the Clown: Chump Champ

Two versions here, the original web-formatted one and a black-and-white, portrait-formatted version for something-or-other.
