Music Review: Neko Case, "Blacklisted"

I can't remember the first time I heard Neko Case. Her voice backs every Gothic, romantic, dreamlike moment I've had for years. She once cited David Lynch's favorite composer, Angelo Badalamenti, as an inspiration on her career, and that is evident. The guitars echoing, the pianos flaking, the vocals soaring like haunted house wails, it's a wonder how Lynch hasn't gobbled her up for a film soundtrack.
